Questions related to NEET

Have a question related to NEET ?

To secure admission into Manubhai Patel Dental College for ST/SC category, you would need a NEET score significantly lower than the general category which is between 325-390 marks for both the categories sc and st.

But the exact marks required will depend on the specific year's cutoff, which varies based on factors like seat availability and competition; generally, a NEET score around the lower range of the state-level cutoff for ST/SC category would be sufficient for admission to Manubhai Patel Dental College.

Good luck..

Hello,

Yes, in India, appearing for and clearing the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a compulsory step if you wish to become a pediatrician or pursue any medical specialization.

Here's the process you would typically follow:

  1. Undergraduate Level (MBBS) :
    • To begin with, you need to qualify for NEET-UG, which is the entrance exam for admission to MBBS programs. Securing admission in an MBBS course at a recognized medical college is the essential first step toward becoming a pediatrician.
  2. Postgraduate Level (MD/MS) :
    • After completing your MBBS, to specialize in pediatrics, you will need to appear for NEET-PG, which is the entrance exam for postgraduate medical courses. Successfully passing this exam allows you to apply for an MD in Pediatrics.
    • Alternatively, there are a few other exams like INI-CET (for AIIMS, JIPMER, etc.), which some premier institutes conduct for admission to their MD programs.

In summary , NEET is mandatory to start your medical education (MBBS), and NEET-PG (or equivalent exams) is necessary to specialize in pediatrics.

To obtain an FMGE eligibility certificate even if you don't have a NEET score card, you need to apply online through the National Medical Commission (NMC) website, providing all necessary documents like your 10th standard certificate (for date of birth proof), 12th standard mark sheet, proof of admission to a foreign medical university, and any relevant category certificates (SC/ST/OBC), without needing the NEET score card as it is not a requirement for FMGE eligibility.

Moreover,if you want your score card you can also check in your email as NTA sends a copy of the same after its published.

You just download it and keep it save as PDF in you Mobile or PC and get it printed when and where you require it.
