As per your query, percentage and percentile are two different parameters to judge your performance in an examination.

Percentile indicates your performance with respect to other candidates which means if the highest score in an examination is 900 out of 1000

Is it very necessary to solve previous yrs AIIMS ques. papers before NEET 2018 exam? As in do previous year AIIMS questions repeat in NEET?

With only one month left month in AIIMS MBBS exam, you must utilise each day to move ahead from where you were the day before and in order to do this preparing a schedule would be helpful. Clarify the basic concepts of each subject and take mock tests.

 For qualifying AIIMS MBBS 2018, you need to secure a minimum of 50 percent marks in the entrance examination (candidates from the general category). Candidates from the SC/ST and OBC categories must have obtained at least 40 percent and 45 percent marks, respectively.

i have listed below last year cut-off marks for Banaras Hindu University for all category.refer it.

  • General - 155 marks
  • OBC - 142 marks
  • SC - 79 marks

Candidate should have attained or will attain the age of 17 years as on the December 31 of the year of admission (2018).
