YES, you should apply for counselling through RPVT 2025 with 324 marks with SC category, even if you are not allotted in the first round, you might get a seat in later rounds as cutoffs ualluy falls.

A woman OBC candidate scoring 322 in RPVT is very safe above the OBC qualifying cutoff of 147. She can now participate in counselling because she has qualified. Being qualified does not mean she is admitted but with 322 marks she has a very high chance of obtaining a payment (self-funded) seat at a government veterinary college at counselling— as long she registers, enters her preferred college correctly, and eventually attends the counselling rounds. It is important to follow all the steps of choice filling, documents verification, and payment of fees for admission confirmation.

Yes, RPVT 2025 has qualifying marks which is set as a percentile. Candidates need to score at least 50th percentile for the General category and 40th percentile for reserved category to qualify for the counselling. The cutoff will be declared after the declaration of results but the qualifying marks are these only.

For admissions in 2025-26, the RPVT test, on its own, is no longer in use and candidates will now qualify using NEET (UG) and enter RPVT counselling based on this. The RPVT-based counselling will fill about 950 seats overall in 11 veterinary colleges (constituent and affiliated private colleges)—this includes state quota, payment, NRI and management seats.
In addition, there are All-India seats in all colleges that will be filled from the VCI quota (15% in each college; about 45 total) on the basis of NEET-UG ranks only. Private colleges may also use NEET scores with RPVT merit when filling management quota seats per VCI guidelines.
