All India Institute of Medical Sciences, (AIIMS), New Delhi conducts the AIIMS paramedical exam for admission to paramedical courses in participating AIIMS institutes. The authority releases the application form for AIIMS BSc Paramedical. Candidates wishsing to appear in the test have to submit their application forms before the last date. The aspirants must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths and English. A total of 90 multiple-choice questions are asked in the AIIMS paramedical exam 2025. Candidates have to answer the questions in 1.5 hours. Students may either attempt the Biology or Mathematics part.
After the conclusion of the exam, the authority releases the AIIMS paramedical merit list 2025. Candidates with their names on the merit list then be called for AIIMS paramedical counselling 2025. Candidates who wish to apply for AIIMS 2025 paramedical admission must go through the eligibility criteria. AIIMS paramedical eligibility criteria 2025 are mentioned below.
Candidate must be a citizen of India
Candidates must have attained the age of 17 as of December 31, 2025
Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate mark from a recognized board with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects.
Candidates applying for Bachelor of Optometry, Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, must have passed class 12 or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics as main subjects.
Whereas for candidates applying for any other AIIMS paramedical courses should possess Biology as a compulsory subject in class 12.
Candidates qualifying the entrance exam are called for AIIMS paramedical seat allocation process which is held in online mode. AIIMS paramedical counselling 2025 is conducted in three rounds followed by a spot seat allocation round in case of vacant seats. AIIMS paramedical counselling process is defined below.
For round 1 and 2, seat allocation is done strictly by combined merit list starting from Rank 1
The order of Seat Allocation is General/EWS/ OBC (NCL)/SC /ST.
Final open round is held in offline mode (physical).
Candidates are allowed to change the institutions and subjects in all rounds. However, in the Final Open Round any change of institution/or subject even within the institution are allowed only after depositing the penalty amount in form of Demand Draft.
If seats remain vacant after the final open round, the authority conducts a spot seat allocation round at the respective AIIMS separately.
Selected candidates have to undergo medical examination by the Board of respective institutes. If they are found medically fit, they can join the courses after depositing the requisite fee.
In case candidates do not join an allotted seat within the stipulated date, they have to forfeit all their claims and deposit fee is not refunded.
Candidates who are already pursuing a BSc course or equivalent (but have not completed) are considered; however, they have to deposit Rs 1,00,000 as security deposit. The Security Deposit is refunded back after depositing original documents within 5 days.
AIIMS paramedical 2025 registrations are conducted through the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) facility. This allows candidates applying for different paramedical courses to do only one-time registration. AIIMS application form can be filled in two stages- basic and final registration. Once the basic registration is accepted, candidates are directed to do final registration which includes the generation of Registration Unique Code (RUC), choice of city (Delhi/ NCR only) and payment of application form fee.

Then, click on ‘New basic registration’
Read the instructions carefully and click on ‘Proceed’
Enter the asked details and click on the declaration checkbox
Click on ‘Generate registration Id and password'
Registration ID and password is sent to registered email address and phone number
Step 2: Uploading of images
Login using the registration ID and password
A pre-filled application form appears on the screen
Check the filled details and choose ‘Proceed’ to continue (if details are correct) or ‘Edit’ (if details are incorrect)
Upload scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression
Click on ‘Submit’
Step 3: Check the application accepted/rejected status
Login through the registration ID and password
Check the status of the basic registration (accepted/rejected)
In case of a rejected application, change the fields marked in red
Check the AIIMS paramedical application form once again
After making changes, click on ‘Submit’
Step 4: Generation of code
Login through the applicant login
Click on ‘Generate Registration Unique Code’
Choose the course from the drop-down list
Verify and click on ‘Generate’
System-generated RUC will appear on the screen

The authority issues AIIMS paramedical admit cards for registered candidates in online mode at aiimsexams.ac.in. Candidates after registering and filling the AIIMS paramedical application form 2025 must check for the status of accepted or rejected application. Candidates with rejected application form are not issued an AIIMS paramedical admit card. Such candidates have to ‘Raise a Query’ available at ‘MyPage’ section along with full particulars of the registration form.

As per the AIIMS paramedical entrance exam syllabus, the standard of the entrance exam is that of class 12 under the 10+2 scheme or equivalent examination. In case two or more candidates belonging to the same category secure equal marks in the AIIMS paramedical entrance exam, the tie will be resolved in order of preference as stated below:
Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology/Mathematics will be given preference
If tie still remains, candidates obtaining higher marks in Chemistry will secure a high place on the merit list
If the issue is still not resolved, candidates obtaining higher marks in Physics will be placed higher on the merit list
At last, the tie wil be resolved considering the age of the candidate. Candidates older in age will be preferred first.
