The NEET 2026 question paper has 90 questions from the Biology section. Therefore, putting Biology at the top of your priority list is a good idea, believes Prof Ravinder. Nonetheless, aspirants should not spend half of their time in the Biology section but rather take one hour and get an idea of how to study Biology effectively.
Aspirants make a common mistake when taking the NEET exam, which is completing one question and immediately moving on to another. This is the biggest mistake of all.
"To ensure that their answer is correct, candidates should recalculate it at least twice, taking into consideration the time as well", - said Prof. Ravindra Kumar Kondamud.
While re-evaluating the answer is essential, it is also important not to waste time on one solution alone. A candidate who finds any question difficult should spend less time on that question and instead save it for the end of the test.
There is no doubt that aspirants experience nervousness in the run-up to NEET, but in that overwhelming and mixed feeling, most of them fail to read the question paper or the paper well, and that is where they fall short. To solve a question effectively, candidates should always read the question carefully.
At last, a method that is effective not only for NEET but for all tests. Aspirants shouldn't spend the morning before their exams engrossed in reading, according to Prof. Ravinder. Solving NEET sample papers and mock tests is not the ideal course of action, even though reviewing what they have already studied is beneficial. In addition to feeling under pressure, candidates' confidence will be damaged if they are unable to figure out the solution. Reviewing the revision notes in the morning would be preferable to going through the books.
