The AMRU counselling 2024 is being conducted online to allocate BSc Nursing seats to eligible female students in the Government and Private nursing colleges of Himachal Pradesh. The AMRU BSc Nursing exam 2024 was conducted on July 7, 2024 for granting BSc nursing seats in the government and private colleges of Himachal Pradesh. The AMRU BSc nursing counselling 2024 is conducted for the state and management quota seats. AMRU BSc nursing counselling rounds are conducted after the result is declared and the merit list is released.

The AMRU Nursing counselling process is completed in three rounds - Round 1, Round 2, and a mop-up round. AMRU counselling 2024 BSc nursing - Eligibility criteria

Candidates appearing for the AMRU BSc Nursing 2024 counselling need to fulfil certain eligibility criteria set by the authority, which are as follows -

  • Student must have appeared for the AMRU BSc Nursing exam 2024 and qualified it

  • For the state quota seats, the student should be a domicile of Himachal Pradesh state

  • The candidate must have passed the 10 + 2 standard or its equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks

The AMRU BSc Nursing counselling process is conducted online and includes registration, seat allotment, document verification, fee payment, and final admission. The comprehensive details of the AMRU BSc Nursing counselling process is mentioned below.

  • AMRU BSc Nursing counselling 2024 registration - All the eligible candidates need to register online for the AMRU BSc Nursing 2024 counselling. The candidate will fill out the online admission application form within the stipulated period using the University website, amruhp.ac.in. After payment, the candidate must submit the online application form and download pdf of the application form.

AMRU BSc nursing counselling 2024 - Documents required

Upon the successful completion of the seat allocation, students are required to appear for the document verification process at their allotted colleges. The list of these AMRu BSc Nursing counselling documents is provided below -

  • AMRU BSc Nursing counselling application form with a passport-size photo
  • Copy of the admission letter
  • Class 10 certificate
  • Domicile certificate

Counselling rounds of AMRU BSc nursing

There are three AMRU BSc Nursing counselling rounds - Round 1, Round 2, and a mop-up round. The detailed information of AMRU BSc Nursing counselling rounds is as follows -

  • Candidates are required to fill out the application form for AMRU BSc Nursing counselling 2024 and pay the registration fee.
  • Based on the choices filled by the students, BSc Nursing seats will be allotted under the state quota and management quota in the government and private nursing colleges of Himachal Pradesh
  • After completion of round 1 of centralised counselling, the round 2 counselling will be conducted by the university.
  • If a candidate is satisfied with her seat allocated during round 1 of online counselling, she is not required to participate in round 2 of online Counselling. In case she wants upgradation, then she will have to submit fresh preferences in round 2, failing which the seat allocated in round 1 will be treated as final.
  • Those candidates who registered for round 1 and were not allotted any seat, need not register again, they can log in and fill up the choices directly in round 2. Following the filling of choices, the seats will be allocated based on merit and choices made by the students.
  • The mop-up round shall be conducted for those candidates who have not joined /holding any seat during rounds 1 and 2 and who have applied fresh for the the mop-up round.
  • No upgrade from one college to another college shall be made during the mop-up round. However, up-gradation will be allowed from private colleges to government colleges and in private nursing colleges from management quota to state quota.
