Eligibility for female aspirants:
Candidates must be female children of either:
A bonafide Himachali, or
An employee of the Himachal government or an autonomous body funded by the Himachal government.
Age Criteria:
The candidate's age must fall between 17 to 35 years as of December 31, 2025.
For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years.
Age will be considered based on the date recorded in the matriculation certificate.
Educational Qualifications:
The candidate must have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination from H.P. Board of School Education or any other recognized board.
Mandatory subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
Minimum Marks Requirement:
The candidate should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the 10+2 examination.
Registration Requirements:
Candidates must be registered as Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM) with the H.P. State Nurses Registration Council, Shimla, at the time of application.
Himachali Bonafide Candidates: Those who completed their GNM Diploma outside Himachal Pradesh and are registered with the respective State Registration Nursing Council must register with the HPNRC, Shimla, within 3 months of admission.
Candidates from Other States: Must be registered with their respective State Nurses Registration Council. At the time of application, they must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Registrar of their State Registration Council for pursuing higher studies outside their state.
Educational Qualifications:
The candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University established under Indian law.
Minimum aggregate marks required: 40% for general category candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Performance:
The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the GNM course from a school/institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council or the Himachal Pradesh Nurses Registration Council.

Then click on Admission > Apply for Admission > BSc Nursing Course.
Choose the desired course for admission in the current session.
Enter full name, father’s name, email ID and mobile number carefully, ensuring it matches the details on class 10 marksheet.
Then click the ‘Verify Email’ button after entering your email ID.
An OTP will be sent to the registered email ID.
Enter the OTP in the provided field to complete email verification.
Insert the captcha code to finalize the registration process.
Use a valid mobile number and email ID for registration.
Save the system-generated credentials for future logins, as registration is a one-time process.
Upload a recent passport-sized colored photograph and signature in JPG or JPEG format as specified.
Provide the required educational qualifications.
Pay the prescribed fee for the BSc Nursing application form.
Then click on the ‘Final submit’ button.
Take a printout of the completed application form for future reference.
