AMRU BSc nursing exam is conducted in offline mode. However, the result of the BSc nursing examination is declared in online mode. AMRU HP follows a tie breaking procedure for candidates who obtain equal marks in the entrance exam. The inter-se ranking of candidates securing equal marks in AMRU HP BSc nursing 2025 exam is determined by following the below mentioned criteria.
If two or more candidates secure the same total marks, candidates with higher marks in Biology are given preference.
If the tie persists, the candidates with higher marks in Chemistry are ranked higher.
If the tie remains, preference is given to the candidate with higher marks in Physics.
If required, the candidate with higher marks in English is ranked higher.
If the tie persists even after considering English marks, higher marks in the Nursing Aptitude section are considered.
If the tie still remains after applying all subject-wise criteria, the candidate who is older in age is given preference in the merit ranking.
Before the declaration of the BSc nursing result, the authority releases the AMRU BSc nursing answer key. Candidates who are not satisfied with the answers in the answer key can raise their objections by mailing them along with the documentation proof at counselling.amruhp@gmail.com. The authority considers the objections and if any changes are required in the answer key, they are made accordingly and then the BSc nursing result is announced.
After the announcement of the AMRU BSc nursing result, the authority publishes the merit list. Candidates with their names mentioned in the AMRU BSc nursing merit list 2025 are eligible for the further counselling process. The authority conducts the AMRU BSc nursing counselling in online mode. During the counselling session, candidates must fill in their preferred choices of colleges and quota within the stipulated time period. Candidates who are allotted seats in the first round need to report at the colleges within the deadline. Those who do not secure admission in the first round can participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling.
