AMRU HP BSc nursing exam 2025 - Eligibility criteria
The authority has set up certain AMRU HP BSc nursing eligibility criteria. Only eligible female candidates are given admission through the AMRU Nursing entrance test.
Aspirants should be female children of a bonafide Himachali/ Himachal government employee/ employee of an autonomous body funded by the Himachal government.
The age of candidates should be between 17 to 35 years as of December 31, 2025. However, the upper age can be relaxed by 5 years in the case of SC/ST candidates. Age as recorded in the matriculation certificate will be entertained.
The candidate should have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination from the H.P. board of school education or any other recognised board in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
The students should have scored a minimum of 45% marks in the 10 + 2 standard.

The authority releases the application form for AMRU HP BSc nursing 2025 in online mode only. Only the eligible candidate’s application forms are accepted by the authority. The steps to fill out the AMRU HP BSc nursing exam 2025 application form are as follows -
Click on the menu “Admission > apply for admission > BSc. nursing course” available on the official website amruhp.ac.in
Select the course in which the aspirant wants to take admission for the current session.
Fill in the fields - Name, father name, email ID and mobile number carefully. The entry of the fields must be the same as printed on the 10th mark sheet issued by the concerned board.
After entering the email ID, click on the “Verify Email” button to verify the email. On clicking the button, the candidate gets an OTP on the registered email ID; by entering the OTP in the required text box the email ID gets verified. Insert the captcha code to get registered. Use an authenticated mobile number & e-mail ID for the registration. Due to one-time registration, students must retain the system-generated credentials for future login.
Upload the recent coloured passport-size photo and signatures in the prescribed JPG or JPEG format.

AMRU BSc nursing result 2025
The AMRU result 2025 is declared at amruhp.ac.in. The minimum qualifying marks of the entrance test for admission to BSc. nursing degree course shall be 35% for general and 30% for the reserved category aspirants Before the declaration of the result, the AMRU HP BSc nursing answer key 2025 is displayed on the university website. If any candidate is not satisfied with the AMRU answer key 2025, she is allowed to make a representation with documentary proof to the concerned authority within two days or as specified in the notification, and thereafter no representation is entertained under any circumstances.
The committee also point out the printing error(s) in questions and their key answers, if any, and makes necessary recommendations. In such a way the result and its category-wise merit list is declared. The result of all the aspirants appearing in the entrance test is declared and made available on the website of the University. No detailed marks cards are sent to the candidates.
AMRU HP BSc nursing exam 2025 - Criteria for generation of merit list
Suppose two or more candidates obtain equal aggregate marks in the AMRU HP BSc nursing entrance exam 2025 in that case, their inter-se ranking shall be determined based on marks obtained by the candidates in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English and Nursing Aptitude in that order in the said entrance test. If the tie persists after exhausting the above procedure, then the candidate older in age is given preference. The combined and category-wise merit list based on the marks of the entrance test of all qualified aspirants is prepared and notified and uploaded on the university website.

AMRU HP BSc nursing exam 2025 - Counselling and admission
The Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh releases the AMRU HP BSc nursing 2025 provisional merit list on the official website. The AMRU BSc nursing admission process is done on a merit basis. Online counselling is conducted for the provisional allocation of the BSc nursing seats based on the AMRU HP BSc nursing merit list. The online application form can be filled out by the aspirant within the stipulated period. The application is locked automatically on the last date of filling out the application form. This is followed by the release of the merit list, after which the candidates can fill the choices, colleges and quota within the given time. The choices are also locked on the last day of filling choices.
A total of 2 rounds of counselling are conducted by the authority. After the provisional allocation of seats in both rounds of counselling, candidates would be able to download the provisional admission letters from the website of the university after logging into their account. The candidates are required to report to the Principals of the respective colleges along with requisite original documents and print of the application form and allotment letter. Candidates must deposit one self-attested copy of all these documents.
A mop-up round/extended mop-up round is conducted for those candidates who have not joined /holding any seat during round 1 and round 2 of counselling. No upgradation from one college to another college is made during the mop-up round of counselling by the counselling committee. However, up-gradation is allowed from private colleges to government colleges and in private nursing colleges from management quota to state quota in order of merit.
