The authority has set up certain AMRU HP BSc nursing eligibility criteria. Only eligible female candidates are given admission through the AMRU Nursing entrance test.

• Aspirants should be female children of a bonafide Himachali/ Himachal government employee/ employee of an autonomous body funded by the Himachal government.

• The age of candidates should be between 17 to 35 years as of December 31, 2026. However, the upper age can be relaxed by 5 years in the case of SC/ST candidates. Age as recorded in the matriculation certificate will be entertained.

• The candidate should have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination from the H.P. board of school education or any other recognised board in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

• The students should have scored a minimum of 45% marks in the 10 + 2 standard.

Use an authenticated mobile number & e-mail ID for the registration. Due to one-time registration, students must retain the system-generated credentials for future login.

5. Upload the recent coloured passport-size photo and signatures in the prescribed JPG or JPEG format.

AMRU HP BSc nursing exam 2026 - Counselling and admission

The Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh releases the AMRU HP BSc nursing 2026 provisional merit list on the official website. The AMRU BSc nursing admission process is done on a merit basis. Online counselling is conducted for the provisional allocation of the BSc nursing seats based on the AMRU HP BSc nursing merit list. The online application form can be filled out by the aspirant within the stipulated period. The application is locked automatically on the last date of filling out the application form. This is followed by the release of the merit list, after which the candidates can fill the choices, colleges and quota within the given time.
