AMRU HP Bsc Nursing Exam 2025: Counselling (Started), Merit List (Out), Cutoff

The authority releases the AMRU HP BSc nursing counselling 2025 schedule in online mode at amruhp.ac.in. Candidates who qualify for the exam are eligible to participate in the counselling process. • Bonafide Himachali female candidates/ children of bonafide Himachali/ Himachal government employees/ employees of autonomous bodies funded by the government of Himachal Pradesh are eligible to apply. 

• Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects. 

• General category candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate in PCB subjects in the qualifying exam. Reserved candidates must have secured 40% marks in aggregate. 

• Candidates appearing for the class 12 exam can also apply, provided they fulfil the eligibility criteria at the time of round 1 counselling. 

• Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit. 

• Non-Himachali candidates are also eligible for the 50% management quota seats in private BSc nursing colleges in Himachal Pradesh.

• Go to the official website: amruhp.ac.in. 

• Click on ‘Admission> Apply for admission and counselling> BSc nursing course’. 

• Fill in the personal details such as the candidate’s name, father’s name, date of birth, email ID and mobile number.

• Click on ‘Verify email’. An OTP is sent to the registered email address. 

• Enter the OTP in the box provided and insert the captcha code. A registration number is generated. 

• Log in by entering the generated registration number and password. 

• Candidates must also fill in category, state of domicile and educational qualification details.  

• Upload a photograph and a signature in the specified format. 

• Fill the AMRU HP BSc nursing exam centre. 

• Pay the AMRU BSc nursing application form fee.

If two or more candidates score equal marks in the AMRU HP BSc nursing exam 2025, the authority applies the following criteria to prepare the merit list. 

• The candidate who scores higher in Biology will get a higher rank.

• If Biology marks are also equal, then the one with higher Chemistry marks will be ranked higher.

• If Chemistry marks are also equal, then comparison is made of Physics marks.

• If the tie is still there, a candidate with higher marks in English is placed higher in the merit list. 

• If English marks are also equal, comparison is done with the Nursing Aptitude marks.

• At last, the candidate older in age is given preference in the merit list.
