Srimanta Shankardeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) conducts admission to the Assam B.Sc nursing through the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) on behalf of the Directorate of Medical Education (DME). Assam BSc nursing exam is conducted to grant admission to government and private B.Sc nursing colleges affiliated with SSUHS. The SSUHS will release the official notification on its website, ssuhs.in.

It is a state-level examination conducted once a year. Candidates who have attained 17 years and passed Class 12 in the science stream are eligible. Assam BSc nursing exam is a bilingual exam with a 2-hour duration and the maximum mark is 100. Candidates belonging to other states can also apply, however, the admission in the government B.Sc nursing colleges will be given to the permanent residents of Assam. The eligibility criteria for getting admission to Assam B.Sc nursing are as follows:
Candidates must be an Indian citizen.
The minimum age of the candidate must be 17 years as of December 31 of the year of examination.
Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in Class 12.
For the unreserved category/EWS, the minimum percentage required is 50%, for the PwD category, it is 45% and 40% for the candidates from the reserved category.
Aspirants going to appear for the Class 12 examination can also apply, however their admission will be provisional. Those students must upload their Class 12 mark sheet on the application portal soon after the declaration of the result.

The process to fill out the Assam B.Sc Nursing application form 2024 is mentioned below:
Visit the official website of SSUHS, ssuhs.in.
The first step is to register in the portal.
After registration, candidates will get their login credentials.
Log in to the portal using the login credentials and fill out the application form.
Upload the required documents and a recent photo.
Pay the application fee.
After the successful payment, candidates will get their application number and password.
Download the filled application form for future reference.

Assam BSc nursing admit card will be issued to registered candidates only. The admit card of BSc nursing Assam will contain the name, registration number, application number, exam date, exam timing, exam venue, candidates’s photo, signature and other details. Candidates are required to carry the admit card along with the valid ID proof to the examination.

Candidates can check the CEE result at the official website of Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), astu.ac.in. To check the results, candidates are required to enter the application number and password. The results will be in PDF format containing the marks scored by the candidates. Candidates can download the result and the scorecard for the future reference.
Qualified candidates are required to submit a list of documents to the principal’s office of the respective colleges for counselling. Also, aspirants will have to pay the counselling fee and receive the payment receipt. The required documents are as follows:

There will be no problem as such . You should not worry about it now, let it be for now .
After your neet results when will get admission a call for counseling you must take your class x mark sheet along with you to ahow the college authorities where yoh will get admission.
You may carry your mother's ID proof to show the official persons but it is not a great issue , don't think much of it.

They will listen your problems or excuses whatever , they just need ews certificate anyhow ,so it is better for you to select your category as general if you don't have ews certificate available right now to avoid any problem in the future .

If you have gazzette with your changed name then you should not worry at all.
When a person changes his name, he has to get a gazzette certificate to verify . Due to this certificate the person's name is changed in government citizen list officially.
You may apply for neet pg with your new name
You will have to upload gazette certificate too.
Make sure your aadhar card , pan card shows your changed name .
Gazette certificate is the provision for citizens who change their caste or name Due to any reason.
