NEIGRIHMS MBBS 2025 eligibility criteria

Applicants willing to participate in NEIGRIHMS MBBS 2025 admission process are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Information regarding the NEIGRIHMS MBBS admission 2025 eligibility criteria is given below.

Candidates should be permanent residents/domiciles of one of the 8 North-Eastern states of India including Sikkim.
He/she must have completed the last 2 years of their schooling in India
Applicants must have attained 17 years of age at the time of admission or will do so on or before December 31, 2025.
Candidates must have passed Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination or any other exam equivalent to 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
The candidate must also score individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and an elective subject. Every general category aspirant has to secure at least 50% taken together in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, while for SC/ST/OBC aspirants, it is 40% percentage.
Applicants must have appeared for NEET UG 2025 & have secured minimum NEET cutoff for admission to the MBBS course in any Indian university/institute.

Even if you give the wrong number during NEET PG registration, as long as the certificates are correct, everything will be OK. Official correction time is given by the exam authorities, when you should fix your answer sheet. Should the time window not give you an option to fix the registration number, quickly email the helpdesk and include your application ID, the correct number and a picture of your registration certificate. Do not wait until the last moment to do this. If you’re fast, you can avoid problems during the admission or verification process.

It is not possible to say for sure whether NEET 2026 will be easier or tougher than NEET 2025. The difficulty level depends on the question paper set by NTA that year. No, Neet exam is not mandatory for BPT course.
