NEIGRIHMS MBBS 2024 eligibility criteria

Applicants willing to participate in NEIGRIHMS MBBS 2024 admission process are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Information regarding the NEIGRIHMS MBBS admission 2024 eligibility criteria is given below.

Candidates should be permanent residents/domiciles of one of the 8 North-Eastern states of India including Sikkim.
He/she must have completed the last 2 years of their schooling in India
Applicants must have attained 17 years of age at the time of admission or will do so on or before December 31, 2024.
Candidates must have passed Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination or any other exam equivalent to 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
The candidate must also score individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and an elective subject. Every general category aspirant has to secure at least 50% taken together in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, while for SC/ST/OBC aspirants, it is 40% percentage.
Applicants must have appeared for NEET UG 2024 & have secured minimum NEET cutoff for admission to the MBBS course in any Indian university/institute.

To get admission in Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi under EWS and Defence quota, you would need a good score in NEET as MAMC ranks amongst the topmost medical colleges in the country. Almost 680+ marks out of 720 may be needed by a general category student to get a seat in MAMC according to the trends in the previous years.

With the EWS and Defence reservation, you may get some relaxation, but considering the high cut-off for MAMC, it would be advisable to have at least 650+ marks in order to improve your chance. Keep in mind that all the cutoffs vary every year due to the difficulty of the exam, number of candidates appearing, seat availability, and a few other things; so one needs to keep setting high targets and also know the current trends of NEET 2025.

At this rank it is difficult for you to get admission in clinical branch as last year cutoff rank was upto 10000 even your rank is not enough for DNB as this course gives admission under 30 k rank

Allt this rank you may get biochemistry, pharmacology, micro biology, physiology, anatomy etc.you need to pay fees more than 12 lakh for these courses and get stipend every month approx 35k.

Bioinformatics is not a regular medical program and hence might not be directly related to the NEET scores. However, certain institutions might consider NEET for associated programs. Normally, high-standard institutions would require NEET ranks under 10,000. Other institutions may accept ranks between 15,000 to 40,000 depending on their requirements for admission.
