APNCET Exam 2025: Counselling (Started), Result (Out), Cutoff, Merit List (Out)

Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh conducts the APNCET entrance test counselling. After the APNCET exam result, candidates are required to fill out their preferred colleges at the counselling time. During the counselling process, candidates have to pay their registration fee.  Once the fees are deposited, it cannot be refunded under any circumstances. After allotment of seats, candidates carry all the relevant documents and visit the allotted colleges at the stipulated time.

• Only Indian citizens are eligible. However, individuals holding OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) or PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) cards are also allowed to apply.

• Applicants should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with the Bi.P.C. group (Biology, Physics, and Chemistry) under the science stream. English must be one of the core subjects.

• Candidates from the General (OC) category must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 45% in science subjects. For those belonging to SC, ST, or BC categories, a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate is required.

• Candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year. There is no maximum age limit for appearing in the exam.

• Applicants should be physically and medically fit to pursue the nursing course.

• The AP BSc Nursing exam 2025 is open to both male and female candidates.

The candidates who successfully fill out and submit the application form can download the APNCET exam admit card. To download the Andhra Pradesh NCET admit card, candidates need to log in by entering their registration number and password. The conducting body releases the APNCET answer key in online mode. Candidates will be able to check the answer key of APNCET exam on the official website. The answer key can be downloaded in PDF format. Candidates can predict their expected scores with the help of the APNCET answer key. The provisional answer key of the APNCET exam can be challenged by paying an amount of Rs 200 per answer. After reviewing the challenges, the authority releases a final APNCET answer key based on which the result is announced.

APNCET merit list: Tie-breaking criteria 

If two or more candidates secure the same marks in the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Common Entrance Test (APNCET),  the authority declares the tie-breaking criteria to prepare the merit list for the eligible candidates. The tie-breaking criteria are as follows. 

• Marks secured in the APNCET common entrance examination are to be considered.

• If the tie is not resolved, the candidate obtained higher marks in Biology, then Chemistry and then Physics scores are to be considered. 

• If the tie still persists, a candidate older in age (based on date of birth) is to be considered in the APNCET 2025 merit list.
