Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences conducts APNCET 2025 admission for a 4-year BSc nursing course in the colleges of Andhra Pradesh. Through the APNCET exam 2025, admission to BSc nursing courses is being conducted in the private and government nursing colleges of Andhra Pradesh. The APNCET exam 2025 was conducted on July 6 and the results were declared on July 19, 2025.
As per the latest update, the authority has released the APNCET Round 1 seat allotment 2025 under competent authority quota. Allotted candidates need to report from October 24 to 28 for document verification and admission process. The round 1 registrations could be done from August 27 to September 8, 2025.
The APNCET exam 2025 was conducted online. Candidates had to answer a total of 100 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours. A few days after the exam, the authority releases the provisional answer key, which can be challenged by paying an amount of Rs 200. The result is declared in the form of a merit list and is compiled by considering the final answers after accepting the challenges of the provisional APNCET 2025 answer key.

APNCET Andhra Pradesh Nursing Combined Entrance Test (session 2025)
Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh conducts the APNCET entrance test counselling. After the APNCET exam result, candidates are required to fill out their preferred colleges at the counselling time. During the counselling process, candidates have to pay their registration fee. Once the fees are deposited, it cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Applicants should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with the Bi.P.C. group (Biology, Physics, and Chemistry) under the science stream. English must be one of the core subjects.
Candidates from the General (OC) category must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 45% in science subjects. For those belonging to SC, ST, or BC categories, a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate is required.
Candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year. There is no maximum age limit for appearing in the exam.
Applicants should be physically and medically fit to pursue the nursing course.

APNCET merit list: Tie-breaking criteria
If two or more candidates secure the same marks in the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Common Entrance Test (APNCET), the authority declares the tie-breaking criteria to prepare the merit list for the eligible candidates. The tie-breaking criteria are as follows.
Marks secured in the APNCET common entrance examination are to be considered.
If the tie is not resolved, the candidate obtained higher marks in Biology, then Chemistry and then Physics scores are to be considered.
If the tie still persists, a candidate older in age (based on date of birth) is to be considered in the APNCET 2025 merit list.
