The AIMSET exam aims to support the meritorious and economically weaker students aspiring to pursue medical and allied courses, which include MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS, B.Pharm, BSc Nursing, BSc Biotechnology, BSc Agriculture, Paramedical, BPT, BMLT and MSc Pharma. Before applying for the AIMSET examination, candidates must check the eligibility criteria. AIMSET 2026 eligibility criteria can be checked below.
Candidates must have passed class 12 and must have secured 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects separately.
Candidates appearing for class 12 can also apply.
Candidates must be 17 years of age.
NEET appearing candidates are eligible to apply.
The AIMSET application procedure consists of registration, application fee payment and document uploading. Students need to follow the below mentioned steps below to complete the AIMSET 2026 application process.
Go to the official website of AIMSET: aimset.in.
Enter name, email ID, mobile number and other asked details to register for AIMSET 2026.
In the next step, login by entering the registered mobile number and password.
Complete the AIMSET 2026 application form and click on ‘Submit’.
Pay a non-refundable AIMSET 2026 application fee.
Upload the requisite documents such as Aadhaar Card, class 10 marksheet, class 12 marksheet and other documents.
Click on ‘Final submit’.
Save a copy of a submitted AIMSET application form 2026 for future reference.

A list of top government approved AIMSET participating institutes is displayed on the screen as per the rank of the student.
Candidates need to select the colleges along with the branches of their choice.
Candidates have to submit Rs 3,000 as counselling fee.
Admissions are granted based on the merit obtained in the AIMSET examination.
Once allotments are done, candidates have to download the admission receipt from the official portal and report to the institute on the specified dates.
