    The course focuses on operating machines used for dialysis, monitoring individuals during the procedure to ensure the safety of the patient during treatment. This course prepares students to assist in the treatment of patients suffering from chronic kidney disease or kidney failure through dialysis therapy.

    The BSc in Dialysis Technology program develops the specialized technical skills relating to the technicalities related to blood filtration and purification processes and prepares students to operate dialysis machines and manage patients with concerns about their kidneys.

    BSc Dialysis Technology: Eligibility Criteria

    1. 10+2 with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. English as a compulsory subject.

    2. Lateral entry: Must have passed a 2-year Diploma in Cardiac Care Technology/Renal Dialysis Technology/Perfusion Technology or equivalent after 12th standard.

    3. Reputed universities and institutions conduct entrance exams for this course. These exams generally test basic knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Math, and general aptitude.

    4. Age eligibility: Students must be at least 17 and a maximum of 30 years before December 31 of the year of admission.

    5. Students from vocational streams or open schools may need to confirm eligibility with individual colleges.
