please help ...i had chosen mathematics as my additional subject but after getting more marks in maths than biology ...they made biology as my additional subject ...now am i eligible for neet 2020(i have passed exam from bihar board)

Yastika Kumar 24th Feb, 2020

Hi Shobhit,

It seems that you are a 2019 pass out as BSEB 2020 results are expected to be released by fourth week of march ( https://school.careers360.com/articles/bihar-board-12th-result ). Coming to the eligibility criteria NEET has clearly state physics, chemistry, Biology/Biotech to be the core subjects in your 10+2 or equivalent from recognised board ( https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria ) but since this issue is not from your side, it is better to contact NEET helpline and BSEB to resolve it. They could better guide you on this.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 24th Feb, 2020

Hello,

In 2019 the general cut off for ACS Medical College and Hospital, Chennai was 64643-411173 and in 2018 the cut off was 34077-545052. So considering this you need to be in top 30000 ranker to be on safe side. And you need to score above 450 marks to secure such rank. However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.
