i have 49.33% aggregate of pcb am i eligible for neet ? does this aggregate marks include marks of english ?

Aditya kumar Student Expert 8th Dec, 2019
Hello there!

Greetings!

No , your marks in English is not considered to check your eligibility for neet examination, you need to just pass your English examination, it is aggregate marks in pcb i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology which is considered to check your eligibility. You haven't mentioned your category but in order to be eligible for Neet examination you need to get at least 50 % aggregate in pcb in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category. So if you belong to general category then you are not eligible for neet examination but if you belong to any other category then you are eligible for neet examination.

Mam i had not mention my name and date on my photo and my ear is also not visible due to short hair. Can i reupload a new photo mentioning above those criteria in correction window.Mam i am very much tensed that if my application get rejected.I cant concentrate on my study. Please mam help me...

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 8th Dec, 2019

Tulsi, you can upload a photograph in NEET application form only once. The next time you have to upload is when NTA thinks your photograph doesn't meet the guidelines and sends you a notification at your registered email and mobile no# asking you to upload another photograph that falls within the guidelines. I repeat, you cannot upload a photograph for the 2nd time unless you have been asked by NTA. So, if NTA finds it faulty, they themselves will ask you to change the photograph. Or else you can be assured that the photo uploaded was good enough. There is nothing that you can do right now and also nothing to be worried about either. Please focus on the preparation because the fact is that NTA gives chance ti correct images.

If Ive marked my category as EWS in neet then can I change it back into UR if I didnt get my EWS certificate ready on time?

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 8th Dec, 2019

NTA will open its correction window from January 15th to January 31st. In case you cannot get your EWS certificate by then, you have the feasibility of changing your category in NEET application form. So you still have approximately 40 days to get a EWS certificate.

Hi I am student of pcmc after 12th and wanted to go for mbbs so I joined b. Pham and completed it so is there any chance for me to write neet and go for mbbs? As I have completed 12th pcmc and b. Pham in biology.

Aditya kumar Student Expert 8th Dec, 2019
Hello there!
Greetings!

  • No you are not eligible for neet examination as it compulsory to have biology/Biotechnology , Physics Chemistry and English in your 10+2 but as you told you haven't studied Biology at 10+2 level, so unluckily you are not eligible for neet if you have done b pharma.

You can check the neet eligibility criteria provided below :-

  • You need to get at least 50 % aggregate in pcb in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category.

  • To be eligible for Neet 2020 you need to be at least 17 years old or more by December 31st, 2020 .

  • There's no upper age limit for neet 2020.

  • There's no attempt limit for neet examination.

  • Students appearing for Class 12 th boards in 2020 are also eligible for neet 2020.

  • Recognized open boards like Nios etc, private students are also eligible for neet 2020.

In case if you still want to do mbbs then you need to first study biology as an additional subject and then you can appear in neet examination next year.
