NEET Official Answer key 2020 - Before the declaration of result, National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the NEET 2020 official answer key in the last week of May, 2019 in online mode. The NEET answer key by NTA is most likely to be released in the last week of May 2020. The exam conducting authority will release the official answer key of NEET 2020 for all codes which were made available at the time of exam. NEET aspirants will be able to download the code-wise NEET 2020 official answer key from the official website of NTA. The answer key of NEET 2020 is published twice in the form of provisional and final. Candidates who have appeared for NEET will be required to enter their respective login credentials in order to access the provisional NEET answer key 2020. The authority provides an opportunity to challenge the NEET official answer key 2020 by paying a processing fee. Later, based on the accepted challenges to the answer key, NTA will publish a final NEET 2020 official answer key. With the help of NEET 2019 official answer key, NEET aspirants will be able to cross-verify the responses marked at the time of the entrance test. The authority will also publish the NEET OMR sheet which will reflect the answers marked by a candidate.

Latest - Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Minister of Health and Family Welfare announced on October 4, 2019 that NEET will serve as single medical entrance exam for UG courses in the nation. AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS scrapped.

As soon as the NEET 2020 official answer key is released, a link to check the same will be provided on this page. The NEET official answer key will be published for all question paper codes. To access the answer key, candidates can follow the step-wise process enlisted below.

Step 1: Click on the link provided above which will redirect the candidates to the candidate login.

Step 2: Enter the application number and password

Step 3: A tab to view the NEET official answer key will appear on the screen

Step 4: Go through the answer key of your respective code and verify answers.

NEET official answer key 2020- Steps to challenge it

The official answer key of NEET 2020 is a reliable and verified source through which a candidate can know their probable score in NEET 2020. Upholding its credibility, NTA uploads the answer key giving an opportunity to the aspirants to challenge if they find any error/discrepancy in the official NEET answer key. Candidates who wish to challenge the NEET 2020 official answer key will have to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1000/- per answer challenged. Each answer challenged will be scrutinized by NTA with the help of experts. If a challenged answer is accepted by the authority, the NEET official answer key will be revised incorporating the correct option. Interested candidates can check the step-wise procedure to challenge the answer key below.

The step-wise procedure to challenge NEET official answer key

  • Click on the link provided on this page to challenge NEET answer key (To be released)

  • On the home page using login credentials - NEET registration number and password.

  • Click on the option ‘apply for key challenge’ tab to challenge the response(s) given in NEET official answer key 2020.

  • All 180 questions under NEET question paper 2020 will be given under the first column namely ‘select question(s) to be challenged.’

  • The second column named ‘answers as per NTA’ will display the option number of the correct answer.

  • Now, candidates have to select the answer/answers which they wish to challenge by clicking on the box available before every question number.

  • Then, click on the correct answer by selecting an option available under the third column ‘suggested answers) by candidates.

  • Along with the correct answers, candidates have to provide remarks to justify their answers.

  • Click on ‘submit’ button and a message will pop-up on the screen stating “Check that you have incorporated all discrepancies. No change is permissible after final submission” will be displayed.

  • Before proceeding for final submission, all the selected questions to be challenged will be displayed on the screen. After final submission, aspirants will not be allowed to answer or challenge the answer key again.

  • Thereafter, the payment page will appear on the screen. The fees can be paid online only through ‘debit card’ for successfully submitting the challenges. For every answer to be challenged in official answer key of NEET 2020, an aspirant must pay Rs. 1000 per question.

  • Finally, the confirmation slip will appear on the screen and printout of the same must be taken for future references.

NEET official answer key 2020- How to calculate the aggregate score

Through the NEET 2019 official answer key, candidates will be able to calculate the aggregate score of NEET 2020 before the declaration of result. For that, a candidate must be aware of the marking scheme of NEET 2020.

To get an estimate of the score, candidates will have to check the correct and incorrect answers by tallying it with NEET 2020 official answer key. Once the correct and incorrect has been assessed, candidates can apply the following formula to get the probable score

NEET OMR sheet 2020

NTA will release the NEET OMR sheet in the last week of May for each candidate who has appeared for the entrance test. An Image of the OMR sheet and responses will be uploaded which are meticulously graded by machines. A provision to challenge the OMR sheet is also provided for the candidates and thus representation against OMR answer sheet can be submitted by paying a processing fee of Rs 1000/- per response challenged. If a response challenged by a candidate is accepted, it will be updated in the NEET 2020 OMR sheet. Candidates who will challenge the NEET OMR sheet will be required to regularly check the official website as no intimation about the same will be provided individually.

hey,

according to latest notifications, admission to MBBS courses and other health science related courses like bams, bhms, bvsc etc  in medical colleges across the india  including JIPMER and all the AIIMS will be through the common national entrance test NEET from 2020.

so neet is the only gate way to admission in medical colleges for health science related courses.

NEET is the entrance examination for admission to Medical, Dental, AAyush and Veterinary Courses across India. Now NEET score is also the only score considered for admission to AIIMS and JIPMER. In few States, even courses like BPT,BOT and Nursing admissions are also cOnducted through NEET score. So if you are planning on studying any of these courses, it is not possible without NEET.

What is the rank for ST(plain) in NEET?

We do not have 2019 data yet. Neverthless, in 2018 an All India Rank of 240859 secured a score of 265 marks and secured a seat in Tezpur Medical College under ST Plain Category. Now this is 2018 cut off and cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So for securing a seat in this Category, you should atleast aim for 350 or more marks. This is all under State Quota.
