DMER Haryana - Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER) is the competent authority to conduct and practice medical, dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Physiotherapy, nursing education in the state of Haryana. The competent authority is also responsible for establishing new colleges or institutions in the Haryana. DMER, Haryana is the conducting authority of Haryana MBBS counselling for all the eligible aspirants. However on behalf of DMER Haryana, Pt. BD Sharma University Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak is the state counselling authority responsible for conducting the Haryana PG medical admissions.

Candidates seeking medical admission in the state will be required to fill the application form within the dates announced by the competent authority DMER, Haryana. The mode of the filling of these admission forms will be online as no other modes will be allowed. Only aspirants who have qualified for the aforementioned medical entrance tests as per the degree level will be eligible for filling the application form.

After the conclusion of the application process, the counselling authority DMER, Haryana releases the merit list for medical admissions in the state. The merit list includes the list of aspirants who have successfully qualified for the exam and whose application forms will be submitted within the specified date and time. Only the aspirants whose names will be included in the merit list will be eligible to take part in the further counselling process.
For the medical UG admission, the state merit list will comprise the name of students, NEET roll number, category, NEET scores, and state merit rank. However, for the medical PG admission, the merit list includes the name of the candidate name, father’s name, mother's name, gender, date of birth, Haryana domicile, whether MBBS is completed from Haryana, category, PH (Yes/No), NEET score, duration of services in remote and/or difficult areas, incentive percentage, percentage conversation of in-service, and final score.
The cutoff is be released by the conducting authority DMER for admission in the state. DMER, Haryana is the authority that publishes the NEET Cutoff Haryana for the 85% state quota seats for medical UG admission. The cutoff is the minimum score on which admission will be granted in the respective categories.

The competent authority DMER Haryana conducts the counselling entirely in online mode. Candidates will be required to get them to register on the official website and enter preferences of course and college/institution in which they wish to get admission. The counselling for admission will be concluded after three rounds, which includes the mop-up round.
Based on the rank obtained in the medical entrance test, preferences of choices filled by the candidates, availability of seats the DMER Haryana will publish a seat allotment list at the end of each round. Candidates whose name appears on the seat allotment list will be required to report at the designated college along with original documents to complete the remaining admission formalities like document verification, payment of fee, etc.
