Reimagining Pharmaceutics Education for a Transformative Future: As the pharmaceutical landscape rapidly evolves with advancements in drug delivery systems, biotechnology, and data-driven research, education in pharmaceutics must transcend traditional boundaries. It is no longer sufficient to focus solely on theoretical knowledge—there is an urgent need to cultivate innovation, adaptability, and research-driven thinking. The Department of Pharmaceutics at East Point College of Pharmacy stands at the forefront of this transformation, shaping future-ready pharmaceutical professionals equipped to meet global healthcare challenges.
With a vision to develop competent and globally competitive pharmacists, the department has established itself as a center of excellence in drug delivery and formulation sciences. Since the inception of the B.Pharm program in 2004 and the M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) program in 2011, the department has consistently emphasised bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial application. Affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, the programs uphold the highest standards of pharmaceutical education.
