Candidates who have been granted seats have to report at the allotted institutes from September 17 to 21, 2025 for completion of admission process. The JKBOPEE BSc Nursing eligibility criteria are mentioned below.
A candidate must be a domicile of J&K/ Union Territory of Ladakh
Candidates must have completed Class 12 examination from a state open school recognized by the state government or a National Institute of Open School (NIOS) by the central government.
To get admission for JKBOPEE BSc nursing admission, the minimum age limit is 17 years as on December 31, 2025 and the maximum age limit is 35 years.
Candidates must secure 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for the Open Merit category. The reserved category candidates must secure 40% marks in class 12.
Candidates must be medically fit.

The BOPEE displays the J&K entrance exam answer key on the same day of the exam. The answer key can be downloaded on the BOPEE website in the evening and remains for the next three days. If candidates find any discrepancy in the answer key they can challenge it. For challenging the answer key candidates have to pay an amount of Rs.1000 for each question. After reviewing the provisional answer key, the conducting authority releases the final J&K answer key on the BOPEE official website at jkbopee.gov.in.
Candidates can check the J&K nursing exam result in online mode from the official website. The Jammu and Kashmir BSc nursing result is announced in pdf format as a merit list. If candidates score equal marks in the exam, the conducting body prepares the J&K nursing merit list using tie-breaking criteria. The shortlisted candidates are called for counselling.
A candidate with higher marks in Biology marks in the entrance exam is placed higher in the merit list.
If ties still exist, then the Chemistry marks are taken into consideration.
If tie still remains, the Physics marks are considered.
Then the candidate older in age is taken into consideration, if the tie is not resolved.
At last, the tie is resolved by considering the candidates’s first alphabet in their name.
