The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2025 was held on May 4, 2025 in 552 cities across India and 14 abroad. The NEET 2025 exam has a moderate difficulty level, with biology being the easiest and Physics being the most challenging. Chemistry was moderate, with a major focus on concept-based questions. Biology: NCERT-Focused but Tricky

With 400 marks in NEET 2025 (Open category, Maharashtra), you are not eligible for government MBBS colleges.
Government colleges in Maharashtra generally require 610+ marks.
Options:
Private medical colleges (chances still low)
Allied health courses (B.Sc. Nursing, etc.)
Drop a year and prepare again for a higher score.
No college in India offers BAMS without NEET.
NEET is mandatory for all BAMS admissions, including private and management quota.
If not qualified, consider a drop year and prepare again.

The neet ug score of 263 will have estimated rank from 400,000 to 500,000. I am using the word estimated as the actual rank may vary depending on many factors. If your goal is not mbbs then you can try other courses like Dental, Homeopathy or Ayurvedic.
