The paper consisted of a majority of questions that were of medium difficulty, making the paper moderately challenging. According to experts, the NEET 2025 question paper also had its share of difficult questions. Physics, in particular, was more difficult than other parts due to the presence of many formulas and calculation-based questions. The paper also consisted of more assertion reason and statement based questions.
As per expert opinions and student feedback, the difficulty level of NEET 2025 was mostly moderate to hard, in line with past trends but slightly tougher than NEET 2024. The paper continued to follow the new pattern with 180 questions for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
