With a score of 370 in NEET 2025 under the SC category, you may have a chance to get a government MBBS seat through the All India Quota, though chances are slim. Cut-offs vary each year, so participate in counselling for better clarity.

According to the marks required before and what is needed today, here is your situation:

1. For St Category, see the cutoffs from previous years.

The mark to aim for during 2023 qualifying is 116 (50th percentile).

Last year’s minimum score for admission was 150.

The average BDS minimum marks for ST are 120-180.

2. Probable Ways to Get in:

Government Colleges:

You can be allotted 50% of the available seats based on your state.

It can happen in states where competition is not high (NE states, Jharkhand, MP).

These include: Government Dental College (Ahmedabad), ESIC Dental Colleges

Private Colleges:

A high chance of obtaining admission in deemed universities (Manipal, SRM)

Good options for private colleges are available through management quota.

A number of Christian minority colleges accept students with lower test results.

3. State-wise Chances:

It is more profitable to play in states where a lot of students use ST.

Odisha Post-Basic BDS Program

Chhattisgarh (Government Dental College Raipur)

Govt. Dental College Mumbai (Maharashtra)

A lower number of these accidents are recorded in South Indian states.

4. Next Steps:

You should apply to each round of counseling (you will get 4 or 5 chances).

Heed the advice given by state quota counselors (as this gives you a better chance of success).

Have a copy of your files ready for backup.

These colleges allow students to enroll without paying the fees.

Separate counseling will be held at ESIC/AFMC dental colleges.

Programs designed for the welfare of ST students in each state

5. Important Notes:

It is more important to focus on your rank than on your marks (Await the announcement of your rank)

You must provide the ST certificate, proof of income and domicile.

Get ready for spot rounds, as they can occur after main counseling.

6. If BDS Cannot Help:

Nursing degree courses are available in many colleges for students scoring in NEET.

Pharmacy courses

Paramedical programs

Hello there,

If you're unable to access one-to-one counselling for NEET UG 2025 , here are some possible reasons and steps to fix the issue:

1. Platform-Specific Issue

Are you using a specific website or app that provides one-to-one counselling (e.g., Careers360, Aakash, Allen, or NEETPrep)

Fix :

  • Ensure you’ve registered and logged in properly

  • Check your email/SMS for a counselling appointment link

  • Some platforms require paid plans for 1-on-1 sessions

    2. Technical Glitches

Fix :

  • Clear browser cache and cookies

  • Try using a different browser (Chrome/Firefox)

  • Switch devices (try using a laptop if you're on a phone)

    3. Official MCC/State Counselling

If you're referring to official counselling (MCC or State) :

  • These portals do not offer one-to-one counselling . They only provide centralized online counselling.

    4. Check Dates

One-to-one counselling (by coaching institutes or private portals) usually starts after NEET results are declared. NEET UG 2025 result is expected around mid-June 2025 .

What You Can Do Now:

  1. Tell me which website/platform you're trying to use.

  2. I can guide you to free or official counselling support options.

  3. I can also give you college predictions or personalised advice based on your NEET marks, category, and preferences—right here.

Hello Mr. Rajesh,

Congratulations to your daughter on passing NEET MDS 2025 with a mark of 405! From the trend of cutoffs of previous years, a mark of 405 is a good mark for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery MDS in deemed universities, particularly in the management quota.

Some of the deemed universities in Maharashtra where she could have good chances of getting through are:

  1. DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai

  2. Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College, Pune

  3. Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha

  4. Dr. DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune

Several deemed universities in South India offer MBBS programs with relatively low fees compared to some other private colleges, and may accept students with lower NEET scores. Some examples include:

Deemed Universities:

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal: Known for Kasturba Medical College, they offer MBBS with a total fees range of approximately 43.95 lakh.

Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai: Offers MBBS with a total fees range of approximately 1.35 crore.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri: This deemed university, located in Kerala, may offer lower fees and acceptances for students with lower NEET scores.

B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai: Another deemed university in Chennai that may offer affordable options.

A NEET score of 300 in 2025 would likely land you a rank between 4,50,000 and 5,50,000. Several medical colleges in India accept students within this rank range, and some of them offer MBBS programs with relatively lower fees, especially government colleges and some private institutions.

Hello,

Yes, some private colleges and a few state universities offer BHMS admission without NEET . Usually, these admissions are based on 10+2 marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Some states have their own entrance exams, and some private colleges allow direct admission under management quota.

However, NEET is the most common and widely accepted exam for BHMS. Before applying without NEET, check if the college is recognised by the government and has proper accreditation to avoid future issues with your degree.

Hope it helps !
