AIIMS INI SS 2024 - Result (Out), Exam Date (April 27), Syllabus & Pattern

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, (AIIMS) conducts the Institute of National Importance Super-Specialty Entrance Test (INI-SS). The exam is held twice a year for the January and July sessions in online (CBT) mode for admission to 365 DM , 231 M.Ch. 29 MD (Hospital Administration) seats.

As per the latest update, the INI SS 2024 July session result has been declared on May 4. Earlier the admit cards were available on the official website aiimsexams.ac.in from April 22. Earlier, AIIMS, New Delhi closed the application form for INI SS 2024 for the July session at aiimsexams.ac.in. The last date to fill the INI SS 2024 application form was April 10. The authority uploaded the INI SS 2024 information brochure. INI SS 2024 July session exam will be held on April 27. The exam will be held for admission to DM/M.Ch./MD Hospital Administration Courses at Institutes of National Importance (INI), AIIMS New Delhi including all new AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry , PGIMER Chandigarh , NIMHANS Bengaluru , and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology ( SCTIMST ) Thiruvananthapuram.

The result for INI SS 2024 result will be published in PDF format on the official website. Those who qualify for the exam will be eligible to participate in the INI SS 2024 July session. A total of three rounds will be conducted in the INI SS 2024 counselling during which aspirants will have to register and fill in the choice of course and colleges. The seat allotment for INI SS 2024 July counselling will be held on the grounds of INI SS rank, choices filled by the candidates during the counselling and seat availability.

INI SS 2024 eligibility criteria for DM/M.Ch

To get admission to DM/M.Ch. seats through the common entrance test, candidates must meet the INI SS eligibility criteria 2024 as laid down by the authority.

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess the educational qualification mentioned in the information brochure.

• Age relaxation: The age relaxation offered by the authority varies for different categories which can be referred to in the table below.

Eligibility criteria MD (Hospital Administration)

• Candidates must have an MBBS or equivalent degree.

• Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in government hospitals or five years of experience in general practice.

• Candidates belonging to the UR/OBC/EWS/Sponsored category must have obtained 55% in aggregate in MBBS whereas those belonging to SC/ST must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

• Candidates must be registered with the Central /State Medical Registration Council.

• Candidates who have graduated from foreign universities must fill in their FMGE exam marks in the application form.

The steps to fill INI SS application form 2024 are as follows:

1. Registration: Go to aiimsexam.ac.in and register for INI SS 2024 July session by entering the details asked in the portal.

2. Filling the application form: After registration, candidates will be redirected to the application form. Enter the personal details, educational qualification, contact details, and FMGE screening marks (if applicable).

3. Uploading of documents: In the third step, upload the documents as specified in the brochure.

4. Paying INI SS 2024 application fee: Pay the registration fee through Debit card/ Credit card/ Net banking. The INI SS 2024 application form fee is given in the table below.

Application Fees

The INI SS 2024 exam will be conducted in online (CBT) mode in two stages. Stage I will comprise of 80 questions that need to be answered in 90 minutes. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded one mark and for every incorrect answer, one-third mark will be deducted. Stage II will be conducted for those candidates who apply for AIIMS and will be of 20 marks only.

Stage II: Applicable to all AIIMS only

1. Candidates must secure 50% marks or more in stage I.

2. Candidates must have registered online for AIIMS seats in respective specialty/course.

3. Candidates fulfilling the AIIMS eligibility criteria will be called for departmental clinical/practical/lab-based assessment related to subspecialty/systems/component of the specialty/course for which the candidate has applied.

4. Candidates must obtain 50% marks or more in stage I and stage II combined to qualify for AIIMS seat allocation.

The authority released the INI SS admit card 2024 on April 22. Candidates can download their INI SS admit card 2024 from the official website aiimsexams.ac.in. Candidates need to login using their candidate ID and password. In the admit card of INI SS details regarding exam date & time, exam centre, reporting time, candidate’s name, important guidelines and other information will be provided.

Candidates must carry the INI SS 2024 admit card to the examination centre along with a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/PAN card/Driving licence/Voter ID card).
