AFMC NEET 2026 counselling is conducted for admission to 150 MBBS seats (including 5 government-sponsored) in the institute. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning (ToELR), Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview and Medical Examination at AFMC, Pune. Candidates must go through the top MBBS colleges in India, the AFMC counselling process and its steps given below.

AFMC NEET UG 2026 Counselling: Highlights
Below are some points regarding AFMC NEET counselling 2026 that candidates should not miss at all. Candidates are advised to read the points carefully.
AFMC, Pune, conducts counselling in offline mode.
Candidates with their names on the AFMC MBBS merit list 2026 are called for the counselling rounds.
Candidates must secure the minimum cutoff set by the authorities to be eligible for AFMC MBBS counselling 2026.
The AFMC counselling process includes document verification, ToELR test, PAT, a medical examination and an interview.
The score obtained in NEET UG added to the ToELR score (80 marks) divided by 4 to get a score out of 200. To this, the scores obtained in the interview (50 marks) are added to make a final merit list. The obtained final scores are considered for AFMC MBBS admission 2026

In order to secure an AFMC MBBS seat after class 12th, one has to go through the below-mentioned process.

Medical Examination and Interview:
Shortlisted candidates based on NEET UG scores are invited for a medical examination and interview at AFMC.
The medical examination assesses both physical fitness and medical standards set by the Armed Forces.
The interview evaluates suitability for a career in the Armed Forces as a medical officer.
Final Selection:
The final selection is based on a combination of NEET UG scores, performance in the medical examination, and interview.
A merit list is prepared considering all these factors, and candidates are offered admission to AFMC based on their rank in the list.
What is ToELR in AFMC MBBS admission process?
ToELR is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted by AFMC authorities for admission to MBBS courses on the campus. This online test is 30 minutes where a total of 40 multiple-choice questions are asked. For every correct answer 2 marks are given, whereas for every wrong answer, 0.5 marks are deducted.
To be eligible for the counselling of AFMC MBBS and secure a seat, candidates must qualify the minimum percentile set by the authorities. Candidates must check the marking scheme given in the table below:

AFMC 2026 counselling process
Below points explain the whole process of AFMC MBBS counselling 2026. Candidates can refer to it for a better understanding.
As mentioned above, counselling is conducted in offline mode. Candidates need to report the venue on the given time.
Reporting candidates need to appear in the following rounds:
1. Document verification (8:00 AM)
2. Blood/Urine investigation
3. ToELR Test
4. PAT
5. Interview with the Board of Officers (2:00 PM)
6. Medical examination (8:00 AM the next day)
Once the screening results are announced, candidates need to report to AFMC, Pune for admissions and after completing the admission formalities, they have to pay the AFMC MBBS fees to complete the admission process.
AFMC MBBS Counselling 2026: Documents required
Shortlisted candidates must keep the below-listed documents ready, as they need to be furnished at the time of AFMC MBBS counselling 2026.
- Character certificate from the institution last attended
- Secondary School Certificate or Birth Certificate
- Demand draft of Rs. 250 in the name of ‘DGAFMS Admission Fund’, payable at New Delhi
- Class 10 and 12 marksheets
- Aadhaar card
- A certificate from the principal of the last school stating that the candidate was a regular student
- NEET scorecard
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- NEET admit card
- Sports Certificate and the level of representation (if applicable)
- AFMC registration slip printout
- NCC Certificate
- Coloured photograph with white background: passport size and stamp size (16 each)
