A person with normal hearing in one ear and mixed hearing in the other can apply for NEET, but eligibility depends on the degree of hearing loss. As per MCI guidelines, candidates with hearing impairment should have a minimum hearing threshold of 50 dB in better ear or 60 dB with hearing aid. Candidates with severe hearing loss may be ineligible. Check NEET eligibility criteria and consult MCI guidelines for clarification.

NIOS students are eligible to sit in NEET-UG so that he or she has right to get admission in any medical college through neet score, further if someone refrain you from admitting you then you can show the letter from MCI which states that NIOS students are eligible to join any medical college provided they satisfy other conditions.
