The NEET PG examination offers postgraduate seats in various specialities with several branches. Some of these branches are Orthopedics, Radiology, General Medicine, Paediatrics, Anaesthesia, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Venereology, Gynaecology, and many more. Only the candidates securing the NEET PG cutoff are eligible to get admission to these branches. The branch wise cutoff for NEET PG is released separately by the participating institutes based on the counselling.
The NEET PG 2023 cutoff for all the branches is influenced by numerous factors including the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and available seats. Radiology is considered as on of the top medical PG branch in India and one of the most preferred choices of NEET PG toppers.
To become eligible for counselling, the candidate must have obtained a minimum 50 percentile for the General category (40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC (including PWD of SC/ST/OBC) and 45 percentile for UR PWD) in NEET PG.
In NEET PG 2023, the cutoff for the general category was 50 percentile, which falls around 366 marks. Thus, students need to bag a rank in NEET PG of around 6,000 to get admission to M.D Radiology course.
