The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the EWS NEET cutoff 2025 at neet.nta.nic.in The NEET 2025 general EWS cut off is announced along with the results. The NEET general EWS cut off is 686 - 144. For the physically handicapped candidates, the EWS NEET cut off is 143 - 127. The EWS NEET 2025 admission cutoff is also provided based on the MCC's All India Counselling.
The EWS NEET cut off marks play a significant role in determining the admission prospects for students who have qualified for the NEET exam. Based on the cutoff, a NEET merit list is prepared. Candidates belonging to the EWS category, whose names are included in the merit list are eligible for the NEET UG counselling. To be eligible for admission to top medical colleges in India and dental colleges in India, candidates need to score equal or above the NEET cut off for EWS category. NEET cutoff marks for the EWS category come in two forms: admission cutoff and NEET qualifying marks 2025. The NEET qualifying marks or NEET passing marks are the minimal marks that candidates must achieve from the total marks in NEET. While the EWS NEET 2025 cut off for admission is the final rank at which an applicant will be granted admission. Medical colleges that accept NEET scores will grant admission according to the NEET 2025 cut-off.
