  • The overall difficulty of the NEET exam plays a significant role in determining the NEET EWS cutoff. A tougher exam generally leads to a lower cut-off, while an easier exam might push the cut-off higher.

  • The total number of candidates applying for the NEET exam also impacts the cut-off. A higher number of applicants typically leads to a more competitive cut-off.

  • The number of medical seats reserved for the EWS category in various institutions affects the cut-off. Increased seat availability can lead to a lower cut-off.

Questions related to NEET

Have a question related to NEET ?

Hello,

If you have passed 12th under the arts stream, then done PCB from Rajasthan State Open School, then there may be a problem regarding Transfer of Credit. It should not be an issue for eligibility to NEET if your 12th marksheet carries five subjects - PCB along with English as compulsory.

Since you have cleared both the original 12th (Arts) and the added PCB subjects, your problem will be arising from the fact that both sets of subjects are appearing in different mark sheets. Unfortunately, NEET requires a single mark sheet with five subjects, of which are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

You might get in touch with RSOS or your respective board and ask them to help you club your subjects into one marksheet. Or else you can request the NEET authorities or NTA to see if they can provide any kind of support for such cases.

Hello,

If you are sincere and keen on serving sick people and rehabilitation after injury, then the BPT course is your best bet. The rehabilitation and physical therapy streams of physiotherapy have attracted many of the students who usually enroll in the field.

Traditionally, the admission to AIIMS is very competitive and AIIMS provides entry to BPT courses. It may even qualify through NEET for some premier institutes. However, there may be institutions offering direct admission based on 12th board marks, especially those with their own entrance criteria or even merit-based selection.

For someone to find out whether he or she will succeed with BPT, a consideration has to be passion for physiotherapy; goals that one may desire to attain in their career; whether one has the admission requirements of his or her preferred college. In this case, there are always specific policies about AIIMS or even other institutions an individual might be interested in, so make sure to find out about the criteria first and thus be able to well prepare the application.
