On July 18, the Supreme Court ordered the NTA to release centre wise and city wise NEET results 2024 of all candidates. The decision was taken by the court bench after hearing around 40 petitions. The court directed the exam conducting agency to publish the NEET result 2024 by July 20 on the official website. The court, however, directed NTA not to disclose the identity of candidates in the NEET result 2024 centre wise list.
The Supreme Court stated that the retest will be held only after concrete evidence that the entire NEET exam has been compromised. The petitioners argued that data analysis prepared by IIT Madras on NEET UG results cannot be relied on. The IIT Madras data indicated that there was no mass malpractice or students benefited with the abnormal scores.

What after NEET centre wise result 2024?
The MCC will now release the NEET counselling schedule 2024 on the official website mcc.nic.in. The NEET UG counselling 2024 will be held in three rounds followed by the stray vacancy round.
