Before applying for the PPMET 2026 entrance exam, aspirants should be aware of the set of eligibility conditions that they need to fulfil. Aspirants can go through the detailed eligibility criteria of PPMET below.
- Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 31, 2026.
Aspirants must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised university/board.
They should have passed in such a qualifying examination as a regular candidate individually in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and should have obtained 45% marks taken together in PCB at the qualifying examination.
Candidates seeking admission under the Foreign Indian Student (NRI) quota are not required to take PPMET, but they must appear for counselling before the Selection Committee.
Aspirants must note that if an applicant has also taken up Mathematics along with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English then the marks obtained in Mathematics shall not be considered for granting admission to B Sc. Nursing Course.

To take BSc nursing admission in the affiliated colleges of BFUHS, aspirants have to fill out the PPMET application form on or before the last date. Aspirants are advised to fill out the application form carefully, as any discrepancy found in the application form may lead to the cancellation of the candidature. PPMET 2026 - Important documents to keep beforehand
The following self-attested photocopies of documents are to be submitted with the PPMET admission application form.
- A passport-size colour photograph must be self-signed by the candidate self-attested photocopy of the Matric or equivalent certificate for the Date of Birth.
- Self-attested photocopy of character certificate from the Institution last attended.
- Self-attested photocopy of the Detail Marks card and the Degree of Qualifying exam.
- Self-attested photocopy of certificate in support of a claim under the reserved category as per the specimen given in the Prospectus.
- Undertaking by the candidate for a Gap year in the original.
PPMET 2026 admit card
The competent authority releases the PPMET 2026 admit card, along with a certificate that needs to be duly signed and self-attested by the candidates. Aspirants can only download the PPMET admit card from the official university website by following the given instructions therein. The PPMET admit card consists of the details of the date, time, and venue of the B.Sc nursing examination. The admit card of PPMET is an important document to carry to the examination centre, as no one will be allowed to sit in the examination without the admit card.

PPMET 2026 result
After all the question booklets and OMR Response Sheets are received by the University, the evaluation is done using the OMR machine. After proper evaluation, the authority releases the PPMET 2026 result mentioning the rank, roll number and other details of the candidates. PPMET 2026 exam merit list
Based on rank, the University prepares the PPMET merit list of the applicants for granting BSc nursing admission. The merit list for PPMET 2026 will be prepared for seat allotment in the different institutions under the university.
PPMET 2026 exam counselling
After the declaration of the result, authorities will conduct PPMET counselling in online mode. The schedule of PPMET counselling 2026 will be made available on the website of the University. Aspirants will have to submit online preferences for colleges/categories. Based on the preferences filled by the candidates, allotment of seats will be done.
Candidates who will be granted seats during the online PPMET 2026 counselling session will have to report to the allotted institute for document verification and joining. Candidates will also have to submit admission fees to secure their seats through an online payment gateway, which will be made available on the university website.
