Hello there,
Yes, you are allowed to wear your customary dress, including the Hijab , during the NEET exam . The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the NEET exam, allows candidates to wear religious attire, including the hijab, as long as it does not hinder the examination process.
However, make sure to follow the general guidelines:
Headgear and accessories
: While wearing a hijab is allowed, avoid carrying any extra items like jewelry or other accessories that may not be allowed.
Dress Code : Ensure that your dress adheres to the NEET dress code, which typically asks candidates to wear simple and light clothes with no large buttons, ornaments, or anything that could cause inconvenience during the security check.
Since you didn't mention it on your form, it’s always good to reach out to the NTA helpline or visit the official NEET website to confirm any updates regarding this issue. But in most cases, religious or cultural attire is allowed.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
