Hello,
After completing your tenth grade education in Telangana, you can take the B-Tech entrance exam if you decide to enrol in a polytechnic that offers MBIPC (Maths, Biology, Physics, Chemistry). MBIPC also covers chemistry and biology, which are crucial for NEET. However, finishing 12th grade with physics, chemistry, and biology is necessary to be eligible for NEET. Unless you finish your 12th grade separately, a polytechnic diploma program might not qualify you for NEET. Diploma holders may sit for lateral entry exams for B-Tech programs. Therefore, you must finish your 12th grade with the necessary subjects in order to write the NEET; if it's a 12th stream and not just polytechnic, MBIPC can help.
All the best.
Hello,
Depending on your category and the particular college, your NEET score should ideally be higher than 400 in order to be admitted to a government BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) college in 2025. For example, the top BAMS government colleges' closing ranks in 2024 varied from roughly 25,000 to 45,000, which corresponded to NEET scores in the 500–600 range for the general category. Scores in the 400–500 range corresponded to closing ranks of up to 70,000 for reserved categories such as SC, ST, and OBC. However, depending on variables like the volume of applications, seat availability, and exam difficulty, these numbers may change each year. Aiming for a score higher than 400 would therefore increase your chances of getting accepted into a government BAMS college.
All the best.
With a NEET score of 380 and SC category, admission to low-fee private MBBS colleges is challenging but possible in some states through state quota or management seats. Fees vary widely; research colleges carefully and explore scholarships or reserved quotas.
Great question! To clarify, NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) and CNET (Computer Network Engineering Test) — assuming you mean something like a computer networking certification or an exam — are quite different in their focus.
NEET preparation is focused primarily on biology, chemistry, and physics, aimed at medical entrance exams.
CNET (or any computer network engineering exam) is focused on computer networking concepts, like protocols, hardware, network design, security, and troubleshooting.
So, NEET preparation alone is NOT sufficient for a CNET exam because they cover completely different subjects.
Hello,
No, a SEBC certificate issued by your state government is not valid for getting OBC reservation under the All India Quota (AIQ) in NEET counselling .
For AIQ seats, you must have an OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate that is approved by the Central Government. Also, your caste should be listed in the Central OBC list.
If you don’t have a valid Central OBC-NCL certificate, you will be considered under the General category for AIQ counselling.
However, your SEBC certificate can be used for state quota counselling if your state gives reservation under SEBC.
You can check if your caste is in the Central OBC list and apply for the Central OBC-NCL certificate from the concerned authority in your area.
Hope it helps !
Hello,
You cannot get direct admission to the BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) course at IMS BHU.
Admissions to undergraduate courses at BHU, including BPT, are based on the CUET-UG exam, not NEET UG scores.
To get admission in BPT at IMS BHU, you need to:
Appear for CUET-UG exam.
Get the required score in CUET-UG.
Participate in BHU counselling.
Meet the eligibility criteria set by BHU.
Make sure to check the official BHU notifications for the latest admission details.
Hope it helps !

Hello Vaishali,
In NEET UG for 200 marks, admission to private medical colleges is challenging because most private colleges have higher cutoff scores.
However, some private colleges with lower fees or in less competitive states may consider scores around 200, especially for management quota or NRI quota seats.
Admission depends on:
State and college-specific cutoff
Category (reserved categories may have lower cutoffs)
Availability of management or NRI quota seats
It is advisable to:
Check individual private college cutoff trends
Explore state counseling and management quota options
Consider counseling sessions and college websites for seat availability
Generally, a score of 200 may get admission in some private colleges, but competition varies widely.
I would recommend you to use the NEET College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank/marks.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
Hey Aaryan !
If you paid Rs. 5 lakh as a refundable security deposit during NEET UG counselling for a deemed university and are now paying college fees under the Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) for SC category students, the Rs. 5 lakh deposit cannot be refunded or adjusted against your tuition fees.
According to the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the refundable security deposit is only refunded if you do not get a seat after all rounds of counselling. If you have got a seat and joined the college, the deposit is adjusted against the first-year tuition fees. This happens regardless of any scholarships you receive.
So, the Rs. 5 lakh deposit will not be refunded or adjusted with your PMS scholarship.
Hope it helps !
