The allotment of examination centres for the re-NEET 2026 exam will be based on the exam city preferences selected by the candidates during the application process. Since the allocation process depends on factors such as seat availability, centre capacity, and administrative arrangements, candidates may not necessarily be allotted the same examination centre that was assigned to them earlier. While the exam city may remain the same in some cases, the exact examination venue can change for the re-examination. Therefore, candidates are advised to carefully check the details mentioned on their revised admit card once it is released by the authorities. The admit card will contain updated information regarding the examination centre address, reporting time, and other important instructions related to the NEET 2026 re-examination.
Candidates are only allowed to modify their present address details through the Re-NEET 2026 correction window provided by the NTA. The correction facility has been introduced specifically to help candidates update their current residential information so that the authorities can make necessary arrangements related to the examination centre allotment and other communication purposes. Apart from the present address, no other details mentioned in the application form can be edited during the NEET 2026 centre change window. Candidates will not be permitted to change important fields such as the medium of the examination, category, nationality, gender, exam city preferences, or any other personal and academic details already submitted in the application form.
