The NEET 2026 registration fee refund process started on May 22, 2026. As per the latest update, the authority has extended the NEET 2026 fee refund last date till June 22, 2026. Through the NEET refund link candidates can share their bank account details for registration fee refund. After cancellation of NEET 2026 exam, candidates belonging to the General category will receive a refund of Rs. 1700, while OBC and EWS candidates will get Rs. 1600 refunded. SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender candidates will receive Rs. 1000, whereas NRI candidates will get a refund of Rs. 9500. The Re NEET 2026 will be held on June 21 by NTA.

NTA, in its notice, has announced that the already paid registration fee of NEET will be refunded. The NEET 2026 refund amount details as stated by the NTA, include the category-wise fee refund to all the students who registered for the exam. This refund fee does not include the payment gateway or bank charges. Candidates can access the NEET fee refund portal to get back their registration fees. NTA has extended the NEET 2026 registration fee refund last date. Candidates can submit their bank account details for NEET refund amount 2026 till June 22, 2026. The NEET 2026 fee refund portal for submitting bank account details is available till the NEET 2026 refund last date. Students are advised to regularly check the official website of the National Testing Agency, neet.nta.nic.in for updates regarding refund.
There is no registration fee for the NEET 2026 re-exam. NTA will use the pre-existing data and candidates don’t need to register again. NTA has also clearly stated that students will not have to pay any additional fees for the NEET 2026 re-exam.

The refund process of NEET 2026 registration fee is completely automatic and online. While filling the NEET 2026 application form, the mode of payment selected by the candidates will be used to refund the fees. NTA will refund the NEET 2026 fees to the respective candidates' debit/credit card, UPI, and net banking which were used during initial registration.
In case, any candidate has filled and paid the application fee of NEET 2026 through someone else (friend, relative, or cyber cafe), they can contact the related person and ask for the refund amount if they have received the refund. NTA will also release a separate notice regarding the successful refund process.
