The AFMC MBBS 2024 application form has been closed. Eligible candidates were able to fill the application form of AFMC MBBS till August 20. To submit the AFMC application form 2024, candidates could register and apply for AFMC, Pune on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
After the last date of registration, DGHS provides the details of registered candidates to Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, which will then release the AFMC MBBS 2024 merit list. The shortlisted candidates are called for the screening. The exact schedule of AFMC screening is available on the official website. Based on the NEET score and screening at AFMC, two separate merit lists of boys and girls will be released. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning (ToELR) which is a computer-based test (CBT). This will be followed by the Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview and Medical Examination at AFMC, Pune. Admission to the institute is granted based on scores obtained in written examinations and Interviews. AFMC MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates wishing to apply for AFMC MBBS admission must have the following eligibility criteria.
- Nationality - The candidate should be a citizen of India. If foreign candidates get Indian citizenship and also a certificate of eligibility from the Ministry of Home Affairs, they can fill AFMC MBBS 2024 application form. This does not apply to the 5 Government Sponsored Candidates from Friendly Foreign Countries
Marital status - The aspiring candidate must be unmarried when joining the course. The authorities will not allow such candidates to continue the course who marry during the duration of the same.
Age - By January 31, 2024 the candidate must attain the age of 17 years, but must not be more than 24 years of age.
Others - Aspirants who originally belong to the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are also eligible to apply
Medical fitness - The candidate should be medically fit as per the standards of Government of India, Ministry of Defence
How to fill out AFMC MBBS Application Form 2024?
AFMC aspirants must familiarise themselves with the process to fill AFMC MBBS 2024 application form. Steps for the same are mentioned in the points below:
- Visit the official website, mcc.nic.in.
- Click on the ‘AFMC application form’ link.
- Enter NEET roll number and date of birth.
- Verify the filled details before submitting the AFMC application form.
- After filling in the required details, make application fee payment.
- Download and take a printout out of the same.

Note - Candidates are advised to keep a copy of their NEET application form while registering for AFMC MBBS 2024. This is because the details entered on it and on the application form of AFMC MBBS should match.
What after filling the application form of AFMC MBBS?
Candidates who successfully submit AFMC MBBS application form 2024 will be allowed to participate in the counselling process. DGHS will conduct counselling for admissions. The conducting authority will call around 1, 880 candidates ((1490 boys and 390 girls ) for the screening test. Candidates' final score will include performance in ToELR, and Personal Interview.
A total of 145 candidates (115 boys & 30 girls) will be admitted for the year 2024. In addition to the above-mentioned seats, Govt. at its discretion through the Ministry of External Affairs & Ministry of Defence may sponsor and select 5 NEET UG qualified foreign students from friendly foreign countries for MBBS training in AFMC, under their aid/collaboration programs. Up to 10 seats out of 145 are offered to candidates belonging to SC and ST.
Documents required for AFMC MBBS application
The authority releases the AFMC merit list 2024 after the completion of the application process. Candidates need to produce the documents required for the AFMC MBBS application at the time of the counselling process. Details of AFMC documents required are provided by the authority in the joining instructions. A list of documents required for AFMC MBBS admission is provided below.
- Character certificate from the institution last attended
- Secondary School Certificate or Birth Certificate
- Demand draft of ₹250 in the name of ‘DGAFMS Admission Fund’, payable at New Delhi
- Classes 10 and 12 mark sheets
- Aadhar card
- Certificate from the principal of the last school stating that the candidate was a regular student
- NEET scorecard
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- NEET admit card
- Sports Certificate and the level of representation (if applicable)
- AFMC registration slip printout
- NCC Certificate
- Coloured photograph with white background: passport size and stamp size (16 each)
- Extracurricular activity certificate

Securing a government medical college seat through NEET needs an eligiblity and as per the eligibility if you are a student of final year BSc is eligible to participate in NEET counselling process and admission.
So if you fail in final year BSc exams it doesn't matter and if you secure a seat in a medical college you can take the admission without any problem.the only problem is the certificates you need to present at the time of document verification.if you fail to provide your documents your seat may get cancelled.
You need to collect your all documents from the college if they coperate you can get certificate easily but if not request them. If you are taking admission on the basis of 12th marks then it may create problem in future so try to get certificate from college.

The Madhya Pradesh Medhavi Chhatra Yojana (also known as the Medhavi Yojana) provides scholarships to meritorious students based on their performance in the 12th board examinations.the percentage should be more than 75 percent for mp board students and for CBSE and icse it is 85 percent.
You can apply for scholarship and If you come into the meritorious students then the amount is even more than 25000.
If you belong to any school then they will collect your bank information So all in all you do not have to do anything, all the work is to be done by the school. You just enjoy.

From your profile it is clear that you are asking about pharmacy admission through neet so,yes there are some colleges in India which considers NEET score for admission to pharmacy programs.
Other than NEET some state colleges use their own entrance exam like MHT CET, CUET, AP EAMCET, TS EAMCET, KCET, KEAM, and Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) for pharmacy.

If your daughter is currently studying in a CBSE affiliated school in Qatar and has been living abroad for the past few years, she will likely qualify for an NRI seat when applying for NEET, as she meets the criteria of being an Indian citizen residing abroad and completing her 10th and 12th education from a foreign country.
NRI students can apply NEET UG under NRI category. Your daughter will be applying for seats under AIQ quota i.e 15% seats only .some states dont give reservation to NRI like Karnataka but some states like gujarat has NRI reservation.while considering colleges check specific eligibility criteria of the medical colleges you are applying to, as there may be minor variations in their NRI admission policies.
