NEET-qualified candidates need to fill out the AFMC MBBS 2026 application form and based on the NEET score, a merit list will be released for the counselling process. The shortlisted candidates are called for the screening. The exact schedule of AFMC screening will be available on the official website. Based on the NEET score and screening at AFMC, two separate merit lists of boys and girls will be released. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning (ToELR), which is a computer-based test (CBT). This will be followed by the Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview and Medical Examination at AFMC, Pune. Admission to the institute is granted based on scores obtained in written examinations and Interviews. Candidates wishing to apply for AFMC MBBS admission must have the following eligibility criteria.

AFMC aspirants must familiarise themselves with the process to fill out the AFMC MBBS 2026 application form. Steps for the same are mentioned in the points below:

Note - Candidates are advised to keep a copy of their NEET application form while registering for AFMC MBBS 2026. This is because the details entered on it and on the application form of AFMC MBBS should match.
Candidates who successfully submit the AFMC MBBS application form 2026 will be allowed to participate in the counselling process. DGHS will conduct counselling for admissions. Candidates' final score will include performance in the ToELR and Personal Interview.
A total of 145 candidates (115 boys & 30 girls) will be admitted for the year 2026. In addition to the above-mentioned seats, Govt, at its discretion through the Ministry of External Affairs & Ministry of Defence, may sponsor and select 5 NEET UG qualified foreign students from friendly foreign countries for MBBS training in AFMC, under their aid/collaboration programs. Up to 10 seats out of 145 are offered to candidates belonging to SC and ST.
The authority releases the AFMC merit list 2026 after the completion of the application process. Candidates need to produce the documents required for the AFMC MBBS application at the time of the counselling process.
