The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, conducts the AFMC NEET 2025 admission. The authority has released the AFMC NEET 2025 merit list on August 16, 2025. AFMC NEET choice filling and locking window was closed. NEET qualified candidates could fill preferences for round 1 AFMC NEET counselling 2025 till August 7, 2025. The selected candidates who will be allotted seats need to report to AFMC, Pune on the stipulated dates.

AFMC MBBS Admission

AFMC MBBS admission 2025 process is conducted for NEET UG qualified candidates only. Candidates need to fill AFMC MBBS 2025 application form in online mode. Candidates need to fill in their personal and educational details along with their contact number, NEET 2025 roll number, etc. Based on the NEET scores and details filled in the application form, the authorities release the AFMC 2025 merit list, mentioning the roll number and name of the candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are then invited for AFMC MBBS counselling 2025. The counselling process includes Test of English language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning (ToELR) and an interview process.

Based on the scores obtained in the ToELR process and interview, AFMC MBBS admission 2025 is given. The authorities also release the AFMC MBBS cutoff 2025 during the counselling process. Through AFMC MBBS admission 2025, a total of 145 MBBS seats (115 boys and 30 girls) will be admitted. AFMC MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates must check the AFMC MBBS eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities before applying for admission. The eligibility criteria is given below:

  • Nationality: Candidate must be of Indian origin. Candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir are also eligible. Foreign candidates who have received an eligibility certificate from the Ministry of Home Affairs can also fill the application form of AFMC MBBS admission.

  • Marital status: Candidates willing to take admission in AFMC must be unmarried. Secondly, they will not be permitted to get married during the course.

  • Age limit: Candidates must be of 17 years of age by January 31, 2025 to apply for AFMC MBBS admission 2025.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have qualified NEET entrance examination. Also, the candidates must have passed/ appeared in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects from a recognised board.

  • Minimum marks required: Candidates must secure at least 60% aggregate marks in Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects. Also, they must secure 50% in English and 50% in each of the Science subjects.

  • Medical fitness: Medical requirements that need to be fulfilled are given below:

  1. Candidates must not have any disorder or disability.

  2. In case they are declared unfit, they can make an appeal for it by paying a fee of ₹40.

  3. The minimum height requirement for boys is 157 cms and the minimum height for girls is 152 cm.

  4. Examination of candidates will be based on height, speech, sight, skin infections, hearing ability, etc.

Below-mentioned are the steps for counselling of AFMC MBBS 2025 admission candidates need to check.

  • Document verification

Is it possible to prepare both neet and jee entrances exam ?

Hello Aspirant

Preparing for both NEET and JEE together is possible, but honestly, very tough.
The syllabus is huge. NEET needs strong Biology, and JEE needs strong Math.
Both exams have very different styles and expectations.
Only students with very strong basics and high discipline can manage both well.

If you are an average student, it’s better to choose one exam and focus fully on it. These are my honest advise to you, you can prepare for one exam and crack that exam, the future opportunities are many in JEE and NEET.
