Hello,
Yes, with 560 marks in NEET 2025, you have a fair chance of getting an MBBS seat in a government medical college, especially under the All India Quota (AIQ) or state quota, depending on your category and state.
For instance, in NEET 2024, candidates with scores around 550–560 secured seats in government colleges in states like Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu under the AIQ. For example, in Rajasthan, the cutoff for SC category was 558, and for ST category, it was 557.
Therefore, your chances depend on your category and the state you belong to.

Hey !
With a NEET 2025 score of 411 and a rank between 90,000 and 1,00,000 in the General category, securing a seat in government medical colleges under the All India Quota is unlikely, as the cutoff for general candidates typically ranges from 590 to 610 marks .
However, you may have better chances under the 85% state quota in certain states where cutoffs are comparatively lower.
I will suggest you to participate in state counselling processes and explore options in private and deemed universities to enhance your chances of admission.

Hello,
If you’ve scored 524 marks in NEET, you can still aim for a good medical college, but your chances depend on the category and the college you want to get into.
If you feel unsure about the result, it’s a good idea to start preparing for next year just in case. Improving your score could help you secure a better college or branch. Focus on your weak areas and try to get a higher score next time.
But, you can also wait for the result to see if you’ve got a seat in a college. If you do, great! If not, you can start preparing with a clear plan for the next attempt.

With 450-480 marks in NEET 2025, securing a government medical college (MBBS) in West Bengal is unlikely, especially for the general category. A score in this range might be competitive for BDS in government colleges, particularly for reserved categories, or for other allied health sciences courses in private institutions.
MBBS in Government Colleges:
Government medical colleges, especially for the general category, typically require scores significantly higher than 480, often aiming for 550-600+.
BDS in Government Colleges:
A score of 450-480 may be sufficient for BDS programs in government colleges, especially for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) through state quota counselling.
Private Medical/Dental Colleges:
Private institutions often have lower cutoffs, making MBBS or BDS possibilities, particularly through management or paid quota seats.
Other Allied Health Sciences:
Courses like BAMS, BHMS, BMS, or Veterinary Sciences in private institutions can be an option with scores in this range, as they typically have lower cutoffs.
