NEET UG counselling 2026 process includes registration, payment of counselling fees, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, downloading of allotment letter, document verification, and reporting to the allotted college.
Step 1: Candidates have to register for the counselling at mcc.nic.in by submitting the details and paying the counselling fees within the specified NEET UG 2026 counselling dates.
Step 2: After the registration is closed, MCC releases the NEET merit list. Based on the merit list, candidates have to fill and lock in their choices.
Step 3: Once the candidates complete the choice filing and locking, the authority processes the seat allocation and releases the seat allotment list.
Step 4: If the candidate is satisfied with the allotted college, he/she can continue with document verification. If not, the candidate can choose to upgrade for the further round of NEET counselling 2026.
Step 5: Candidates who choose to continue with their allocation need to report to the college in person with all the valid documents and pay the admission fee.
