The CNET 2025 cutoff is the last rank and corresponding marks at which admission is granted to the participating institutes. To secure a seat, candidates need to obtain the required qualifying marks to be eligible for the counselling process.
The UP CNET cutoff varies each year for all categories. Candidates who wish to get admission in BSc nursing program must qualify UP CNET exam with the required qualifying marks. Number of applicants: The CNET cutoff 2025 is influenced by the number of candidates who appeared for the entrance exam. More candidates means high competition. If a high number of candidates compete for a single seat at the participating nursing colleges, it increases the cutoff marks.
Seat availability: The limited number of seats available for BSc nursing admission along with the reservation makes the competition more challenging which in turn leads to higher CNET cutoff.
Reservation policies: The cutoff marks vary for all categories. General category candidates have to obtain more marks in the test as compared to reserved candidates. In each college, there are seats reserved for SC, ST and OBC candidates which affects the cutoff marks.
Overall performance: Candidates who obtain higher marks in the entrance exam lead to higher cutoff which also affects the CNET cutoff.
The UP CNET result 2025 has been announced on May 26, 2025. The qualifying percentile for the general category is set at 50th percentile. For reserved categories, the qualifying percentile is placed at 40th percentile.
