SMFWBEE Exam 2025: Counselling (Started), Result (Out), Cutoff, Qualifying Marks & Merit List PDF

The authority announces the SMFWBEE result 2025 in online mode at the official website. The result of the SMFWBEE 2025 exam is released in the form of a merit list. The authority releases a total of seven SMFWBEE result cum merit list: one combined merit list and other category wise merit lists. The authority applies the tie breaking criteria to prepare the result.

Tie breaking criteria for determination of merit rank

• Candidates securing higher total marks are placed higher in the merit list. 

• If the tie is not resolved, candidates securing higher marks in Biology are placed higher. 

• If tie is still there, the older candidate is given preference over the younger one. 

• The last tie is resolved by placing the candidate higher in the merit list who got a higher percentage of marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in class 12.

• Candidates must be citizens of India. 

• Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with individual pass marks in all three subjects. 

• Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission. 

• There is no upper age limit to apply for the SMFWBEE exam.

• Visit the official website: smfwb.formflix.org. 

• All the communication is done through the registered mobile number and email ID only. 

• Click on the link ‘Apply for SMFWBEE 2025’. 

• Register by entering the details such as the candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name and date of birth. 

• After registering, enter the personal details such as nationality, gender, religion, address details, choice of exam centres and academic details. 

• Create a unique password and security question/answer. 

• Carefully check all the filled details and make necessary changes. 

• Submit the SMFWBEE application form. 

• The application number is sent to the registered email and mobile number. 

• Upload the required documents in the specific format. 

• Pay the SMFWBEE application fee of Rs 600 through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. 

• Once the application fee is paid, a confirmation page is generated. 

• Download and save the SMFWBEE confirmation page for future reference. 

Note: If candidates receive any email or SMS regarding discrepancy in uploaded photograph and/or signature, they must rectify the same within one day as authority does not offer any chance of correction in the application form.

The State Medical Faculty of West Bengal issues the SMFWBEE admit cards to the registered candidates only. The admit cards of the SMFWBEE 2025 exam are issued in online mode. Candidates have to login by entering their application number and password to download the SMFWBEE admit card 2025. Candidates must carry the SMFWBEE 2025 admit cards to the exam centre as entry is not allowed with the hall ticket.

The authority releases the SMFWBEE counselling schedule in online mode. To participate in the counselling process, candidates have to pay a registration fee of Rs 100 through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. The counselling of SMFWBEE is conducted in a single round; however, if seats remain vacant, the second round of counselling is also conducted by the authority. 

During the counselling process, candidates must bring all the necessary documents otherwise, they are not allowed to participate in the allotment process. Candidates who are allotted seats in the SMFWBEE counselling 2025 have to deposit Rs 20,000 as admission fee through Demand Draft drawn in favour of State Medical Faculty of West Bengal, payable at Kolkata.
