Maharashtra PG Medical Admission 2020: In view of the outgoing Covid-19 outbreak, the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra, on March 23, has postponed the Maharashtra PGM/PGD 2020 medical admission process. Earlier, on March 16, the authority had revised the schedule for Maharashtra PG 2020 medical admission in order to take preventive measures for avoiding the spread of the Novel Corona Virus (COVID 19). All the earlier dates have been postponed until further notice by the authorities. The Maharashtra NEET PGM/MDS 2020 applicant list had been released by the authorities on the official website mahacet.org on March 16. The link to download the same is available on this page. The Maharashtra PG medical 2020 applicant list carries details such as candidate's name, NEET PGM/MDS roll number, rank, score as well as candidate's category.

Maharashtra PG Medical Admission 2020

Earlier, the authority had released the Maharashtra PG application form 2020 on March 8. The application form will be available till March 13, 2020 up to 11:50 PM. Aspirants can also submit the application form for Maharashtra PG 2020 medical admission with late fee till March 14, 2020. In order to apply for the Maharashtra PG medical/dental 2020 admission, aspirants need to fill Maharashtra PG medical application form 2020. The counselling session will start from April 5, 2020. Candidates who qualify NEET PG exam and fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the authority will only be eligible to apply for Maharashtra PG medical admission 2020. PG graduates must have secured the minimum required cutoff percentile to pass NEET PG 2020 to apply for Maharashtra MD/MS/MDS admission 2020.

Eligible candidates will be called for Maharashtra PG medical counselling 2020, which will be also be conducted in the first week of April in three rounds, including a mock up round. The counselling for Maharashtra PG medical admission 2020 will be done on the grounds of the state merit list. While registering for Maharashtra PG medical admission counselling, candidates will have to fill colleges as well courses according to their preference. DMER NEET PG 2020 - Eligibility Criteria

To be aware of the eligibility criteria set by the authority is extremely important for candidates who wish to apply for Maharashtra PG medical admission 2020. Interested aspirants can check the eligibility below.

  • Candidates should be citizens of India. A Nationality Certificate shall be issued by the District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan

  • Magistrate or valid Passport or School Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as “Indian” shall constitute the proof of nationality

  • NRIs are not eligible for any other seat except for a maximum of 15% NRI quota seats in unaided private and Private Minority medical colleges.

  • Candidates who are domicile of Maharashtra and have obtained admission under 15% All India Quota/AIIMS/Central Government Institutions for MBBS course in the medical college/institution situated outside Maharashtra State as well as those who have obtained the degree from a University situated outside the State of Maharashtra will also be eligible for Maharashtra PG medical admission 2020. However, such candidates are required to submit a certificate from the Dean of respective medical college and a certificate of Maharashtra State by virtue of residence.

  • Aspirants must have MBBS/BDS pass certificate from an institution recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council of India (DCI) only from the state of Maharashtra.

  • Candidates too should have a compulsory rotatory internship certificate on or before March 31, 2020.

  • A registration certificate issued by MCI or State Medical Council (SMC) is also mandatory.

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

  • It is compulsory to secure the NEET PG cut off 2020 percentile to be eligible for the entrance exam. Category-wise NEET percentile for Maharashtra PG medical admission 2020 is mentioned below.

Maharashtra PG Medical Application Form 2020

The Maharashtra PG 2020 application form was available from March 8 to 13 up to 11:59 PM in the online mode. Candidates were able to fill the application form for Maharashtra PG medical admission 2020 with late fee till March 14. Only applicants who have submitted the application form will be eligible for 50% state quota seats. After the successful submission of Maharashtra PG medical application form 2020, the registered aspirants must report at the nodal centres for document verification. Only after the verification procedure, candidates will be considered eligible to be included in the merit list. At the time of document verification, candidates are required to carry all the documents mentioned below:

  • Online download of NEET PG application form 2020

  • Copy of NEET PG admit card 2020

  • Any photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/Driving License/PAN card/Passport etc)

  • Nationality certificate/valid passport or school leaving certificate of HSC/Class 12 indicating the nationality of candidate

  • MBBS/BDS degree/pass certificate

  • Internship completion certificate from University or the head of the institution

  • Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by Maharashtra Medical Council or Medical Council of India

  • Certificate issued by Dental Council of India or State Dental Council for BDS candidates

  • Certificate from the head of the institute showing that the medical college from where the aspirant has passed MBBS is recognised by Medical Council of India

  • Medical fitness certificate

  • Copy of receipt of online payment

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

  • Caste validity certificate, if applicable

  • Non-Creamy Layer certificate, if applicable.

Maharashtra PG Medical Merit List 2020

The Maharashtra PG medical 2020 merit list will be released by the authority in the last week of March. A link will be made available on the page when released. Maharashtra PG medical merit list 2020 will be made on the grounds of NEET PG 2020 scores obtained by the aspirants and also based on the rank included in Maharashtra PG medical merit list 2020. The merit list will include the name of aspirants, All India rank, state merit rank, NEET PG scores and testing IDs. Candidates who will be included in the Maharashtra PG medical merit list 2020 will be called for counselling process.


Maharashtra PG medical counselling 2020

All the dates for the Maharashtra PG 2020 medical counseling have been postponed by the authority on March 23 with an official notice. Earlier, the authority, on February 10, 2020, had released the Maharashtra PG medical counselling 2020 dates on the official website. According to which, the declaration of the selection of the candidates from the first round was supposed to announced on April 5, 2020. The last date to join the first round was up to April 12, 2020. In the counselling session, candidates are required to fill courses and college in order of their preference. The second round was supposed to be conducted by the authority on April 26, 2020 and the last round which is the mop round on May 8, 2020.

Based on the rank, preferences and availability of seats, the admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses will be granted. Aspirants who will be allotted seats will be required to report at the respective colleges for document verification and completion of admission. Hello,

The eligibility criteria says that a candidate who holds the domicile of Maharashtra and got admission through 15% AIQ/AIIMS/Central governement Institutions for MBBS  course outside of Maharashtra are also eligible.Such candidates need to obtain a certificate from the Dean of respective medical college and a certificate from the Dean of respective medical college and a domicile certificate of Maharashtra State.By this you are eligible but you need to fulfill other eligibility criteria too.

Hello,

You need to carry the original certificates along with the photocopy of your certificates.So by net copy if you meant soft copy or photocopy alone then it will not be accepted and your candidature may be cancelled so you need to carry original MBBS certificate or provisional certificate, MBBS marksheet of 1,2 and 3 professional examinations along with other necessary documents such as NEET PG admit card 2020, NEET PG result 2020, Certificate of completion of internship from the head of the institution stating that the internship was completed on or before March 31, 2020, permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by MCI or SMC, class 10 certificate, category certificate if applicable, photo identity card issued by the government (voter id, pan card etc), disabled certificate issued by the medical board only if applicable.
