Questions related to NEET

Have a question related to NEET ?

Hello,

With a NEET score of 360 and a reserved category, securing a BDS seat in the mop-up round is possible, but it may depend on several factors such as the state quota, availability of seats, and the cutoff for your specific category. Government colleges generally have lower fees, but getting a seat for 1 lakh per year is more likely in private colleges. Check specific college cutoffs and fees for more accurate information.

Hope this helps you

Hello,

If you have passed 12th under the arts stream, then done PCB from Rajasthan State Open School, then there may be a problem regarding Transfer of Credit. It should not be an issue for eligibility to NEET if your 12th marksheet carries five subjects - PCB along with English as compulsory.

Since you have cleared both the original 12th (Arts) and the added PCB subjects, your problem will be arising from the fact that both sets of subjects are appearing in different mark sheets. Unfortunately, NEET requires a single mark sheet with five subjects, of which are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

You might get in touch with RSOS or your respective board and ask them to help you club your subjects into one marksheet. Or else you can request the NEET authorities or NTA to see if they can provide any kind of support for such cases.

Hello,

If you are sincere and keen on serving sick people and rehabilitation after injury, then the BPT course is your best bet. The rehabilitation and physical therapy streams of physiotherapy have attracted many of the students who usually enroll in the field.

Traditionally, the admission to AIIMS is very competitive and AIIMS provides entry to BPT courses. It may even qualify through NEET for some premier institutes. However, there may be institutions offering direct admission based on 12th board marks, especially those with their own entrance criteria or even merit-based selection.

For someone to find out whether he or she will succeed with BPT, a consideration has to be passion for physiotherapy; goals that one may desire to attain in their career; whether one has the admission requirements of his or her preferred college. In this case, there are always specific policies about AIIMS or even other institutions an individual might be interested in, so make sure to find out about the criteria first and thus be able to well prepare the application.

Hello aspirant,

As the NEET and other exams approach, it's crucial to strategize your preparation effectively. Here are some key points to focus on and avoid:

1. Focus on:

  • Conceptual Understanding: Prioritize understanding the underlying principles and concepts of each subject. This will enable you to apply your knowledge to various problem types.
  • Practice Regularly: Solve numerous practice questions and mock tests to familiarize yourself with the exam format and improve your problem-solving skills.
  • Time Management: Develop effective time management strategies to ensure you can complete the exam within the allotted time. Practice time-bound tests to simulate exam conditions.
  • Revision and Reinforcement: Regularly review previously covered topics to reinforce your understanding and prevent forgetting. Create concise notes or flashcards for quick revision.
  • Stay Positive and Motivated: Maintain a positive mindset and stay motivated throughout your preparation. Believe in your abilities and stay focused on your goals.

2. Avoid:

  • Cramming: Relying on last-minute cramming is ineffective and can lead to stress and confusion. Consistent study throughout the year is key.
  • Procrastination: Avoid delaying tasks or assignments. Stick to a structured study schedule to ensure you cover all topics on time.
  • Overloading Yourself: Avoid overwhelming yourself with excessive study material. Focus on quality over quantity and prioritize the most important topics.
  • Comparing Yourself to Others: Avoid comparing your progress to others. Concentrate on your own pace and goals.
  • Neglecting Self-Care: Ensure you get enough sleep, eat healthy, and manage stress. Taking care of your physical and mental well-being is essential for optimal performance.

Advice from Experience:

  • Stay Consistent: Consistent study is key to success. Avoid long periods of inactivity and maintain a regular study routine.
  • Seek Help When Needed: Don't hesitate to ask teachers or classmates for help if you're struggling with a particular topic.
  • Believe in Yourself: Have confidence in your abilities and believe that you can achieve your goals.
  • Stay Positive: Maintain a positive attitude and avoid getting discouraged by setbacks.
