The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada will conduct the AP AYUSH counselling 2026. The AP AYUSH 2026 counselling will be conducted based on NEET UG scores in two major rounds - first, and second, followed by a mop-up round. Candidates who will qualify for the NEET UG exam are eligible to sit for the counselling rounds. Through AP AYUSH counselling 2026, admissions will be granted to government Ayurveda, Homoeopathy & Unani colleges affiliated with Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.

AP AYUSH 2026 eligibility criteria

Only the aspirants who secured the minimum cut-off marks in the NEET UG will be eligible for AP AYUSH counselling 2026. Other basic eligibility criteria are as follows -

  • The candidate must have passed intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination recognised by the concerned state government and Andhra Pradesh education board with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually.

  • Aspirants should have scored a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% marks for reserved category students)

  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years as on 31st December, 2026. Further, there is no upper age limit.

AP AYUSH application form 2026: Step-by-step process

Aspirants will have to fill the AP AYUSH application form 2026 to appear for the online counselling. There are 4 major steps to fill out the AP AYUSH application form 2026 - mobile and email registration, payment of fee, updating of data and uploading of certificates.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to fill out the AP AYUSH application form 2026.

  1. Go to the AP AYUSH counselling official website - drntr.uhsap.in. A registration form will appear.

  2. Enter the NEET 2026 details, including - The All India NEET 2026 rank, NEET UG score, name, date of birth, a valid email ID, a working mobile number and also create a password.

  3. After entering all the details, click on the register button. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.

  4. Enter the OTP and click on the submit button. Upon successful verification of the OTP, a user ID and password will be sent to the registered email and mobile number.

  5. Enter the user ID, NEET 2026 roll number, password received and click on the “login” button.

  6. After successful login, a payment gateway will be opened for fee payment. Select the mode of payment as per convenience. The registration fee is Rs.2,950 for all general category students (2,360 for reserved candidates) and can be paid via Net banking, UPI, credit/debit card, QR code and e-wallets.

  7. Upon the successful completion of fee payment, a registration number will be sent to the registered mobile number and email address. Aspirants should note down the registration number for future reference.

  8. After the successful fee payment, a form regarding the details of aspirants will be displayed. Enter the NEET UG roll number and registration number and click on the “Validate” button to head to the application form.

  9. Enter all the details asked in the application form and also upload a recent passport-size photo and signature in the prescribed format and click on the “Submit” button.

  10. Upload all the documents in proper format. The list of documents required to be uploaded is mentioned below.

  11. After uploading all the required certificates, click on “Save and Print", and a filled-in application form will be displayed. Take a printout of this form for further assistance.

AP AYUSH merit list 2026

Once the registration window for AP AYUSH admissions 2026 is closed by the authority, a merit list will be published. The merit list will be based on the NEET UG 2026 score, AIR, cut-off scores, eligibility criteria and various other factors. The merit list will be generated for 85% state quota seats in AYUSH UG courses (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS).

AP AYUSH 2026 merit list will include the name of the candidate, All India rank, NEET 2026 score. Aspirants whose names appear on the merit list will have to sit for the counselling rounds. During the counselling process, aspirants will have to provide their preference for courses, and colleges' preference.

AP AYUSH counselling 2026 process

Once the AP AYUSH registration process is completed, the authority will release the dates for the AP AYUSH counselling 2026. Candidates will be able to select courses and colleges as per their preference. A merit list will be published based on the NEET UG scores. Only the aspirants fulfilling the eligibility criteria and securing the minimum cut-off will be able to participate in the online counselling.

AP AYUSH counselling 2026 will be conducted in online mode and will consist of two rounds - first and second. The round two will be followed up by a mop-up round if the seats remain vacant. If any seats remain vacant after the mop-up round, only then a stray round will be conducted. Two main rounds of counselling will be conducted and if any seat remains unfilled, a mop-up round and stray round will be conducted.

Aspirants who are allotted a seat, will have to pay a university fee of Rs. 8,600/- by using an online payment method, before obtaining an allotment letter. Upon successful payment of the university fee, students will have to appear in front of the principal of the colleges where they will be allocated a seat.
