Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements are eligible for BAMS admission. Check the BAMS admission eligibility criteria below:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognised board.
Aspirants should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying exam.
Aspirants must have scored at least 50% marks in Class 12. For reserved category candidates, the minimum marks required are 40%.
The minimum age shall be 17 years as on December 31 in the year admission.
There is no upper age limit.

Candidates need to qualify NEET UG in order to get BAMS admission. Aspirants who secure the NEET cutoff marks and percentile are eligible for BAMS counselling. Candidates have to fill out their choices of colleges and courses before the last date. The BAMS admission is granted on the preferences filled by candidates, availability of seats, NEET UG rank, reservation criteria, and other factors.

The AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) conducts the online counselling for 15% of All India Quota seats. Admission to BAMS for the remaining 85% state quota seats is conducted by respective state authorities for government colleges and all private institutes. The BAMS seat allocation will be determined by several factors, including the number of filled choices, NEET UG rank, availability of seats, and reservation criteria. The shortlisted candidates will have to report to the allotted college along with the original documents within the stipulated time.
NEET entrance exam is conducted for admission to AYUSH courses, including BAMS, BUMS, BHMS in India. BAMS admission without NEET is possible. Various AYUSH colleges offer admission to students on the basis of 10+2 board exam results. Candidates need to have passed 12th with a minimum score of 50% marks for the general category and 40% for the reserved category.

Hi! As per the NEET eligibility criteria , you must be 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission. As you will complete the age criteria, you can definitely appear for NEET 2027. Do check the other eligibility criteria and apply for the NEET 2027

The NEET qualifying cutoff for ST category was 143-113. For ST (PWD) , the cut off marks 2025 was 126-113. As you have not mentioned the closing rank for a particular college. Here, we have provided the college wise 2025 MBBS closing rank for ST category.
