Only the aspirants who secured the cut-off marks and more in the NEET UG are eligible for Goa state AYUSH counselling 2026. Other basic eligibility criteria are as follows -
Aspirants should be Indian nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria under various categories. Non-resident Indians holding Indian passports may apply for seats reserved under the NRI category. Overseas citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admission to seats under the NRI category
An applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Goa Board or an examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any other examination, which in scope and standard, is deemed to be equivalent to the H.S.S.C. examination of Goa Board
Aspirants should have scored a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% marks for reserved category students)
The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years as on 31st December 2026. Further, there is no upper age limit.
Goa AYUSH counselling 2026 is conducted in offline mode and consist of five rounds. The authority will release the information brochure on its official website. This information brochure includes an application form (A/B) for admission to all the courses mentioned in this prospectus,(depending on the courses opted).
For the AYUSH course, aspirants will have to fill out “Form A” along with an application fee of Rs.2,000 and send it to the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Goa. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to apply for Goa AYUSH counselling 2026.
Enter the NEET UG 2026 roll number and affix a recent coloured passport-size photograph in the provided space.
Select the category of candidate.
Enter the name of the aspirant along with gender and contact number.
Enter the candidate's Aadhar card number.
Fill all the details of 10 + 2 standard along with the marks in each subject.
Enter the NEET 2026 details of the candidate. These details are NEET 2026 roll number, candidate’s NEET 2026 all India rank, candidate’s NEET 2026 score.
Fill the “declaration form” carefully and mention all the details asked in the declaration form such as Date of filling application form, address, mobile number. After that, sign the declaration form.
Fill the declaration form provided for the aspirant’s parents/ guardians and get it duly signed by the parent/ guardian.
Attach the xerox copies of listed documents in the application form and mark them as checked on the table provided.

Note: Aspirants will have to fill out the acknowledgement card provided in the official brochure. This acknowledgement card must be produced at the time of submission of application form “A” and during admission rounds.
The Goa AYUSH merit list for admission to the BAMS and BHMS courses shall be prepared based on the aspirant’s NEET UG-2026 AIR (All India Rank), NEET percentile and NEET 2026 scorecard. Merit lists will be displayed at the admission centre at the DTE, Porvorim, Goa and on the website as per the schedule given in the prospectus.
Goa AYUSH 2026 merit list will include the name of the candidate, All India rank, NEET 2026 score. Aspirants whose names appear on the merit list will have to sit for the counselling rounds. During the counselling process, aspirants must provide their preference for courses, and colleges' preference.
Once the Goa AYUSH counselling registration process is completed, the authority will release the dates for the Goa AYUSH counselling 2026. Candidates will be able to select courses and colleges as per their preference. A merit list will be generated based on the NEET UG scores. Only the aspirants fulfilling the eligibility criteria and securing the minimum cut-off will be able to participate in the online counselling. Five rounds of counselling will be conducted and if any seat remains unfilled, a mop-up round and stray round will be conducted.
Aspirants who are allotted a seat will have to appear for document verification and pay the requisite fee. Upon successful payment of the fee, students will be granted admission to their choice of institute.
