Interested candidates should meet the requirements to be eligible for the IGNOU BSc nursing admission 2025. Check the eligibility criteria for IGNOU nursing below:
Candidates with 10+2 with a 1-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and at least two years of experience in the profession.
Male nurses without midwifery in the GNM programme must obtain a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council instead of midwifery.
In-service Nurses (RNRM) must have passed 10th or its equivalent with a years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of five years of experience (after registration as RNRM) are eligible.
Male nurses without GNM must have a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration provided by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery.
Candidates having 10+2 and GNM must not apply if experience after RNRM is less than two years.
Candidates having 10th and GNM must not apply if they have less than 5 years of experience after RNRM.
There is no maximum age limit.
The question paper is a sample of the syllabus and exam pattern, and thus students can prepare accordingly. It is usually a set of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on various nursing subjects, such as:

Hello! The acceptable score for BSc Nursing admission through NEET 2025 depends on the category and the college status. The score range for general category students seeking admission in top government institutions should be 550 to 580 marks while OBC candidates should aim for 530 to 560 marks and respective cutoffs for students from SC and ST categories are 400 to 450 and 350 to 400 respectively.
