Have a question related to NEET ?

Dear student,

If you’ve scored 445 marks in NEET 2025 under the General category , getting into a government medical college will be quite difficult. Most government colleges have cut-offs well above 540 marks, especially in states like Delhi, Rajasthan, UP, Maharashtra, and Haryana , where the general category cut-offs usually range between 550 and 630 marks .

At 445, your best chances lie in private medical colleges . Many of them accept students with scores between 350 and 500 , particularly in states like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu . Some deemed universities and management quota seats may also be open to you, though the fees tend to be quite high.

If MBBS in a private college doesn’t work out, you can consider BDS or BAMS . The cut-offs for these courses are usually lower, and you might get a seat even in some government colleges, depending on the state.

Keep an eye on your state counselling portals , especially during mop-up and stray vacancy rounds —cut-offs often drop in those final stages. Be flexible with your options and ready with backups.

Dear student,

With 145 marks in NEET 2025 (SC category) , getting a government BAMS seat is very unlikely , as the cut-off is usually above 350 marks .

You are eligible for counselling , and may get a seat in private BAMS colleges , where the cut-offs are lower—but fees will be higher.

hi,

BDS admission in 2025, you need to qualify NEET. The minimum qualifying marks for general category is usually around 137–145, and for OBC/SC/ST it is around 107–115, but to actually get a BDS seat, you usually need around 300–400 marks for private colleges and 450+ marks for government dental colleges. The admission process starts with NEET counselling. You have to register for All India Quota or your State Quota counselling after NEET results.

hi,

316 marks in NEET and belonging to SEBC category, getting a government medical seat is very difficult because the cutoffs for SEBC category are usually much higher. But with this score, you can have a chance to get admission in private medical colleges, especially under management quota or SEBC reservation if available.

Hello aspirant,

No, the BPT course does not require the Neet test.  Students get admitted to colleges and universities on the basis of their performance on their own admission tests or in their Class 12 board exams.  Nonetheless, certain states or educational institutions could have their own entrance exams, such as Maharashtra's MHT CET.

Thank you

Hope it helps you
