The validity of NEET scores in India is 1 year from the date of declaration of the result. It means students who have qualified NEET in 2025, their scores are valid for one year, which is 2025-26 academic year. Candidates who want to pursue MBBS, BDS and Ayush courses must qualify NEET entrance exam with the required cut off marks and participate in the NEET counselling process. Every year, NTA conducts NEET UG for candidates seeking admission in top medical colleges in India. Students who fail to secure admission in that specific year need to appear again for the entrance exam to get fresh NEET scores.
The NEET scores 2025 are valid for 3 years for MBBS abroad from the date of NEET results. It means that the NEET 2025 scores will be valid for three years for students who wish to apply for MBBS admission in foreign medical colleges
which will be till 2027-28 academic year. It is mandatory for candidates to qualify NEET to get MBBS admission in foreign universities. However, students can pursue medicine with a low NEET score also. Several medical universities offer MBBS admissions to students based on minimum NEET qualifying marks.
