Odisha MBBS Merit List 2018 – Odisha Joint Entrance Examination cell (OJEE) has published revised Odisha MBBS 2018 merit list for PC candidates. The candidates included in the merit list of Odisha MBBS 2018, released on June 30, 2018, are those who have secured minimum required percentile in NEET 2018 and have attended the document verification session before applying for 85% Quota seats of Odisha. About Odisha MBBS Merit List 2018

The merit list for 85% state quota seats and NRI quota seats has been released on June 30, 2018. Candidates included in the merit list are eligible for the counselling process. Odisha MBBS BDS merit list 2018 will allot OJEE rank. Under the section OJEE rank, the candidates will be provided with a common rank and a category rank, if belonging to a reserved category. The merit list has been released collectively for all the candidates who have applied for Odisha MBBS admission 2018 excluding those whose application forms are rejected due to the discrepancy in the data submitted by candidates.

Tie-Breaker Criteria of Odisha MBBS BDS Merit List 2018

The Tie-Breaker Criteria in Odisha MBBS BDS 2018 Merit List is used in case two or more candidates secure the same marks in NEET 2018. The parameters to be used by the authorities for allotting the ranks to the candidates who score equal marks in NEET 2018 are as follows -

  • The candidate with more marks in Biology is preferred over the one with lesser marks.

  • If the tie still persists, then the candidate with more marks in Chemistry is preferred over the one with lesser marks.

  • If the above criterion does not break the tie, candidates with lesser wrong answers is preferred.
  • If the tie still continues, then the older candidate is preferred over the younger one.

The candidates whose name has appeared in Odisha MBBS Merit List 2018 are required to participate in the choice filling and choice locking session. The counselling of Odisha MBBS 2018 merit list began on July 1, 2018.
