Careers360: Congratulations on securing AIR 2 with 715 marks! What was your reaction after the exam? Were you confident about your score?

Panshul Bansal: Initially, I had some doubts because the OMR sheet had not been released. I thought I might have marked one question incorrectly or missed it by mistake. However, once the OMR was released, I realized that I had marked everything correctly. In the end, I had only one incorrect answer, and I was very happy with the NEET 2026 result.

Careers360: Can you briefly describe your daily study routine?

Panshul Bansal: I usually woke up at 6:30 AM and started studying by 9:00 AM. My schedule was:

9:00 AM to 12:00 PM – Study session

    2-hour break

2:00 PM to 5:00/5:30 PM – Second study session

    1.5 to 2-hour break

8:00 PM to 9:00 PM – Final study session

This routine helped me stay consistent throughout my preparation.

Careers360: What subject-wise preparation tips would you like to give NEET 2027 aspirants?

Panshul Bansal: Physics: Focus on extensive question practice and make sure your concepts are clear.

Physical Chemistry: The same strategy applies—practice regularly and strengthen your concepts.

Organic and Inorganic Chemistry: Read the NCERT textbook thoroughly. Every line of NCERT is important, and you should know it almost by heart.

Biology: Strictly follow NCERT. I don't think any additional book is necessary for Biology.

Careers360: Apart from NCERT, which books would you recommend for practice?

    Panshul Bansal: I would recommend:

Chapter-wise NEET Previous Year Questions (PYQs)

Study modules of a reputed coaching institute

I personally solved Allen's study modules, which included PYQs, high-level questions, and additional factual points that were very useful.

Careers360: What inspired you to pursue medicine?

Panshul Bansal: I have always been interested in science. From around Class 4 or 5, I knew that I wanted to become a doctor, so medicine was always my goal.

Careers360: Whenever you felt demotivated or exhausted, how did you refresh yourself?

Panshul Bansal: I used to play video games, which helped me relax. Sometimes I also watched web series or YouTube videos. These activities helped me refresh my mind before getting back to studying.

Careers360: What are the three most important things NEET aspirants should avoid during preparation?

Panshul Bansal: The most important thing is to never lose your main focus. Also, maintain Consistency, Discipline and focus. If any one of these is missing, your preparation can suffer.

Careers360: What factors should students consider while selecting a coaching institute?

Panshul Bansal: Students should evaluate the quality of mentorship, faculty members, competitive environment and study material. Most importantly, you should be comfortable with the material provided and feel that the environment motivates you to perform better.

Careers360: What major difference did you notice between NEET 2026 and Re NEET 2026?

Panshul Bansal: I felt that the Re NEET 2026 paper was slightly easier compared to the original NEET 2026 examination. It wasn't drastically different, but it was comparatively a little more manageable.

Careers360: How did you manage your time during the examination?

Panshul Bansal: I started with Biology followed by Chemistry and Physics. By the time I reached Physics, my mind was fully active, and I could solve numerical questions more quickly.

Careers360: What was your strategy for attempting difficult questions?

Panshul Bansal: If I couldn't solve a question immediately, I skipped it during the first round. In the second round, I attempted those questions again. If I still wasn't confident, I left them for the very end after completing the entire paper.

Careers360: How did you fill the OMR sheet?

Panshul Bansal: I filled the OMR simultaneously while solving the paper. After confirming an answer, I immediately marked it on the OMR sheet. This reduced the chances of making bubbling mistakes later.

Careers360: How did your family and teachers support you during your preparation?

Panshul Bansal: My family and teachers never pressured me. They made sure I stayed away from stress and anxiety. Because I remained relaxed during the examination, I was able to perform much better.

Careers360: Was it difficult to regain consistency after the announcement of the Re NEET?

Panshul Bansal: Fortunately, it wasn't very difficult. Everything happened within about a week, so I was able to regain my rhythm quickly and continue my preparation.

Careers360: How many marks did you score in the original NEET 2026 examination?

Panshul Bansal: I had scored 701 marks in the original NEET 2026 examination, and in Re NEET 2026, my score improved to 715 marks.
