Based on AP NEET counselling 2024 admission will be granted to 5335 MBBS and 1440 BDS seats offered in medical and dental colleges of the state. In order to appear for AP NEET counselling 2024, it is mandatory for candidates to appear and qualify NEET exam and fulfil domicile and other eligibility criteria. On the basis of scores obtained in NEET UG 2024, authorities will allot seats during AP NEET 2024 counselling.

The authority conducts the AP MBBS counselling in three rounds which include the first, second, and mop-up rounds. It is important for aspirants to use Internet Explorer Version 10 to complete the counselling of AP MBBS/BDS. The options to be submitted will be done in the same portal where candidates have to fill AP MBBS application form 2024. The procedure for filling the application form for AP NEET 2024 counselling has been mentioned below.
In order to access the online portal of AP NEET counselling, candidates can click on the link provided on this page when released. On the online portal of AP MBBS admission 2024, click on the ‘web counselling’ option, after which candidates need to enter their NEET rank, roll number and registration number of the AP NEET 2024 application form.
After the successful login, the AP NEET choice filling 2024 window will appear on the screen. There will be a list of colleges available on the left-hand side of the screen. The college code, place, courses offered and district will be written along with the name of the college. On the right-hand side of the screen, the preferences of colleges will be submitted for AP NEET counselling 2024. With the college codes, candidates can filter their choices. For choosing the number of colleges, aspirants need to click on the ‘Add button’ in their preference list. After choosing the college for AP MBBS 2024 counselling, it will be shifted to the right side. AP NEET admission seekers can add any number of colleges to their lists and the number written against the name of colleges will denote the priority given to a particular college. In order to modify the choices, click on the ‘modify’ button and candidates can click on the name of the college name to drag it upwards and downwards as per their requirements. The undesired college can be deleted by clicking on the ‘delete’ button for AP NEET counselling 2024.
Once the details are selected, aspirants can click on the ‘save’ button. An OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to the registered mobile number, which must be entered in the space provided. Click on the ‘confirm’ button and options will be saved on the server. The choices filled will be locked automatically after the scheduled time of AP NEET 2024 counselling. It should be noted that the same process will be followed for subsequent counselling of AP MBBS/BDS.

Through the counselling of AP MBBS 2024 shortlisted candidates will be required to report at the allotted centre and submit their choices of colleges. For participating in the AP NEET counselling, aspirants need to submit the non-refundable amount of Rs. 6,000 through demand draft which includes Rs. 1000 of non-refundable fees. After the AP NEET counselling 2024 registration, the authority will start the seat allotment of AP MBBS/BDS 2024. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of NEET scores 2024, choices filled, seats available, reservation criteria and other factors. After the allotment, the counselling body will release the AP MBBS seat allotment result in PDF format, mentioning the names of candidates, colleges allotted with rank and other details. Such shortlisted candidates must report to the allotted colleges with documents for admission and verification purposes. If your daughter is currently studying in a CBSE affiliated school in Qatar and has been living abroad for the past few years, she will likely qualify for an NRI seat when applying for NEET, as she meets the criteria of being an Indian citizen residing abroad and completing her 10th and 12th education from a foreign country.
